Jin Guangyao couldn't stand up straight. His legs have taken some sort of animal shape, some sort of canine? His fur was orange red tapering to a white color at the end. He was more surprised that he was alive, his wounds had healed though his nails now had sharp claws at the end of them.

He was dead, right? But he was naked now. Who knew what happened to his clothing or to Nie Mingjue's body? Why did he have both hands? Or a fluffy orange tail? There were too many unanswered questions. And no answers he could find.

He pushed himself up into a sitting position and found himself in an ornate room with bars on the windows, was this some sort of prison? If he peered through the bars he could see other rooms much like his, some with men some with beasts. It felt like some sort of bizarre menagerie.

It was all too strange, his vulpine ears perked up at the sound of another person.

He had heard that the master of the place was a wealthy eunuch, who had retired from his duties and had a penchant for watching youths encounter their first times. He was also not one to be displeased and the other geges and jiejies of his household whispered in fear.

Meng Yao tried to stop the trembling of his hands as he sat there feeling all these eyes on his skin. Being shoved in the room, she stumbles before straightening and holding onto her sweater. She's not sure what she's supposed to say to him, but she isn't about to ask for help either.

They close the door behind her, and she stays where she is for now. She looks resolved more than anything, unsure, but not willing to let that entirely dictate things. Inhaling Effy holds herself before giving a nod.]
