The Dating Meme

Dating is, when you think about, really weird. It's a totally different thing for different people. Some are friends for years before they date; others start dating on the same day they met. Sometimes, there's a lot mushy stuff involved; other times, the couple acts just like friends. None of this is necessarily right or wrong.

Whatever it is, your character and the character you reply to are now dating. How? That's up to you. Whether it be awkward or not, the relationship will be uniquely theirs.

[It was so good to be back at the Ministry. Sure, the Rituals were fun, but she was always glad to be home. Especially after exchanging messages with a certain Ghoul that no longer played with the band.

She helped with the unloading of the gear and made sure her instruments were stored safely and headed to one of her favorite places to relax. She found the baby grand piano and began to play, just soft melodies that she knew would attract a certain someone.]

[ He'd been about doing whatever it was a Ghoul of his kind does, one can never truly be sure— but the chaos soon died down as everyone went about to pursue their own sort of post-tour rituals, as it were. So it was that some hour or so later, the Ministry settled, and he could hear faint melodies ring throughout their halls. There were many, in fact, as some Ghouls took to unwinding in similar fashions but he knew which one it was that he was going to slither toward.

Indeed, Cirrus, your plan did work just as intended. Omega recalled well the promise he made and who was he if not a Ghoul of his word? So there he was, ankles crossed in the threshold of the door just to watch for a moment. Aha, such talent. Worthy of the Ghoul she replaced. Mhm. Though that was just a fleeting thought. He was thinking of something else, more. His promise, perhaps. ]

[She let the last of the notes fade off into the night before she turned her attention fully to Omega. Just the Ghoul she had hoped to see.

She wore more casual clothes tonight. Simple black pants and a dark blue blouse. Her short hair was styled in a way that was similar to the mask she used to wear on stage.]

It's good to see you again.

[ Aha, such a fine looking thing she was. He? Still dapper in that classic old uniform. Though he had set the mask atop the piano as he approached; striking blue eyes the only color left on that sickly pale face. Except for the times that he gets a little nebulous. As one does. He took to seat himself on the bench beside her although the opposite way around so he could be face to face. ]

And you, bella. Any wild excursions? I long to hear them.

I'm afraid that we were far too busy this tour to really have much fun after the rituals finished. The fans were quite delicious though. Their energy during the rituals is like the finest wine.

[Ah, that mask. She still had hers back in her quarters. The current masks that they had were interesting and she liked the design, but there was something about the looks that they used to have that she would always enjoy.]

[ She had some time, though. Omega heard about that moment with Sunshine but he'd keep it to himself for now. Though he couldn't quite keep the cheeky smile from his lips when he thought about it. Such a joy that story was. ] Ah, yes. Even long ago when the rituals were small, the believers were a special kind. Delightful things, for the most part.

[ He had many fond memories but honestly it was in seeing how everyone in one space gave themselves so fully to the ritual; so enraptured, so entranced. It was a thing of magic. ] What's a hellish creature to do when it's all work and no play? Sounds to me that you have some catching up to do.

[Oh, she had fun with the other Ghoulette, but that was for them to enjoy. She could have gone off with any of the Ghouls, but she chose not to this time.]

Indeed, I do. Now that we are back, I have plenty of time to indulge. Maybe I should see who is available for some fun.

[ Aha, but he did so love it. All a part of the fun, wasn't it? A bit of chase, a bit of play, a bit of drama. Something he had little issue embodying on the regular. Omega was frequently the type to speak with his entire body when he was permitted to be so free. ]

[She idly tapped a finger on her chin as she pretended to think about a ghoul that could help her out.]

[Since there were so few decent burger places on bakerstreet, Hilda escorted Asuka to one of her favorite restaurants in Unova. Incidentally it was pretty close to the football stadium, so there's the occasional sound of a muffled anouncer and cheering from down the street.]

It's a little out of the way, but trust me they're the best burgers I've ever had! Also the fries? Are fantastic, they've got this sort of precise crisp to them that makes them world famous! ... Or at least regionally famous?

[She's totally not over-selling the place just to impress her super cute date or anything!]

[With so few restaurants around, being escorted to one of the more regional ones by her date was awesome by Asuka. Besides, it got her away from just about everything.]

Oh, please, stop! You’re making me even more hungry!

Yeah well, I've been known to make my dates mouth water on more than one occasion.

[All the playful teasing as she drags Asuka to a plastic table with an umbrella in the middle.]

[Don't get her started on some of the abominable burgers she's seen people create. The ice cream one still traumatizes her to this day.

She's gone for a good ten minutes, but when she comes back she's got two burger and fry platters in one hand, a bottled water, soda pop, and lemonade in the other. She hands one burger to Asuka that had a little German flag sticking out of the bun, while taking the American one for herself.]

I wasn't sure what kind of drink you wanted so I figured I'd let you choose. Or if you want to share...

[She pulls out a pair of ridiculous twirly straws that had several wild loops.]

I got these while I waited for our burgers and fries to finish!

You know what? I think I want to share with you.

[There’s a small grin before she went to take one of those twirly straws and put it in the soda.]

You’re really sweet, you know that? Just met and you’re thinking of what I might like.

Ooh! Sharing a drink on our first date? How risqué! You might get indirect kiss saliva!

[Which was mad much less likely with all the twirls of the twirls straw, but Hilda couldn't resist.]

[Then a thought occurred to her, and she nearly choked on a bite of burger as she laughed.]

[Asuka snorted and laughed once the situation became clear.]

Wow, we really did get going way too fast, huh? Well then, sexy - name’s Asuka Langley Soryu, best pilot around!

[She definitely was debating dragging Asuka back to a hotel later, but she was trying to be a little good! She wasn't the kind of girl that just picked people up every day or anything. She had standards!]

[She had quite a crush on a pilot gym leader a while back, but she never got the chance to go flying with anyone. Of course she had no way of knowing that's not the kind of pilot Asuka meant.]

Well, the rest of our lunch for starters!

[She wouldn't stop Hilda if she wanted to, but at least she was being good! She wanted to savor this a little longer]

Oh, no, no, no! Not an airplane pilot. Don't tell anyone this, but I actually pilot a giant robot!

[Did Asuka suggest she was thinking the same thing she was, and that she'd be okay with ending their date after lunch?! She'd sort of planned to take her to a few other places first, but now she was sorely tempted. Hmm... to be good or bad, that is the question.]

[She'd seen those in cartoons, anime, and video games since she was a kid, but she didn't think anyone had actually made a functional one! Did they use pokemon to power the thing? Or maybe a nuclear reactor?]

Damn, that's really badass! What do you do with it? Fight crime?

[She'll reach over to take Hilda's hand, giving it a squeeze as she does]

Actually, giant creatures that are called "angels". They're... most likely not.

[Asuka reaching across the table to stop her from cutting their date short made her burst out laughing.]

Are you a psychic, or was my train of thought and my thirst for you that obvious?!

[She waved a hand to reassure Asuka and to discuss away the silly temptation to rush into things prematurely.]

Relax Asuka! I wasn't about to drag you off to some sleazy back alley and pin you to the wall no matter how hot you are.

[Although the thought had obviously crossed her mind.]

It just so happens I do have one or two other stops in mind, and I feel it's only fair we get to know each other a little better before I start stealing kisses from you.
