The Night Market

Even as the sky gets dark, there's still a lot of lights and life all over this busy street full of people. Vendors and customers from all over come to share and appreciate their creations, taking in this lively atmosphere. Eat, drink, be merry - but watch out for pickpockets and price gouging.

2. Hang out, meet new people, laugh at the bootleg toys, and stuff your faces with good food and drinks.

[They are actually dressed differently this time! Long white curls are pulled up in a bun, silver star and moon pins holding things together along with a white apron over a purple dress. Just a little bit behind them, fussing over a giant pot is a kobold, a small reptiloid creature, white scaled and dressed in a little red top and pants.

Every once in a while the two argue back and forth about what the kobold throws into the pot.]

[ Weekday evenings in Yurakucho hold a promise for all the busy adults wrapping up their evenings and desperate to consume beer and freshly fried foods. Yakitori Alley is perfect for that, ready to fulfill the highest of all basic desires with outdoor seating crowding up the entire alley. If you come by early enough, then the salarymen are only starting to crowd in to grab whatever free table they can get. She lets him know to come by around now in her text from a couple days ago. An open invitation, should he take it up, for a casual dinner with the other Special Grade he knows.

(She won't tell him she got it from Larue after beating him in five rounds of arm wrestling. Can't be the sort of girl who spills secrets!)

Since she has no clue if he's coming or not, she goes ahead and grabs a couple skewers of grilled meat and a cold Sapporo to start. There's a table just on the edge of the alley that she parks in, not especially discreet but easy to spot. Of course she hopes he does, but she wouldn't be offended if he skipped out. For one, they've only really met one time several years ago. For another, he's made himself public enemy one since leaving the technical school on such a high note. To think she called his idea crazy, naively thinking it would dissuade his line of thinking.

At least one man, feeling courageous, asks if he can sit with her. She politely lets him know she's waiting on someone, and she's glad he doesn't take it too hard when he saunters off crestfallen. She'll give him an hour or two, or if she's eaten enough chicken and has a few drinks in her. ]
