Familiar with the concept of 'pet shaming'? Basically, your pet does something bad, you give them a sign, and take a picture so the whole world knows their sins. Google has many examples. Now. We do this for our characters.

○ Post with your character! Name and Canon in the header.

○ A magical invisible fairy has placed a shame sign on your character of whatever terrible (or terribly embarrassing) thing your character is guilty of. Write what this sign says in the comment section.

I'm the one with the power to end a two thousand year cycle of suffering.

The mere threat of annihilation? Yeah. There are others back home who have the same idea - figure we can scare off our enemies for fifty years at a time if we only kill thousands of people, not millions.

And once they have the weapons to annihilate the devils who have been slaughtering them?

Kill or be killed. I already said that.

Now that he's got that in the bag, Light can give himself to his questions. Questions like, ] When you say you have the power to end a two-thousand year cycle of suffering... what's the suffering, exactly? That it's "kill or be killed," for you? Why is a bloodless truce not an option where you come from if things lead to such extremes of death on all sides?

[ In all fairness to Eren: If he's not being the world's biggest little bitch about this, that does sound really disappointing -- to say the least. ]

[Eren looks as unamused as ever, his voice dry - almost bored, even, but it's more in anticipation of what Light's reaction - what most people's reaction - will likely be. He is and always has been the only one who understands what he's doing, logical as it all seems to him.]

When they aren't weaponizing us for their own purposes, they're trying to wipe us off the face of the planet.

[Never mind the fact that thousands of Eldians will die due to Eren's actions - and he's well aware of that. It's intentional, even. It's not his race he's loyal to; it was his own race that destroyed his home in the first place. The people of Paradis will survive except for the ones he's already killed as well--. That's all that matters to him.]
