She was there with him in that dead-end timeline and she was there on Derse and she's here in the new timeline, too, even though he left her. And she's still Rose. She's the sharpest and the smartest and she can peel him open like a pinned bug. He's always trusted her to know what she's doing. He has no right to criticize her. Not Rose.

But right or no, she's going too far. He feels it the way he feels the game code crackle under his skin. And there's no one but him to stop her. Or try.
