I do love a gorgeous rug. They aren't as soft as carpeting, but I have them in the other parts of the apartment. It's nice changing them out, because they change the flavor of the decor.

There's no way they can eternally put Eijirou's struggles to rest. They'll come up again. But the more he internalizes those proud feelings and logical rationales for his own skills and results, the more armor he'll have and the faster defenses he'll get whenever those imposter-syndrome symptoms try to creep up. Katsuki wants his boyfriend to feel pride in himself, his Quirk, and everything else. It's his damn life and he should be damn happy to make the most of it.
Katsuki still holds himself to the high expectations he always does, logically knowing "perfect" can't exist, and yet demanding that he be seen as the big strongtoxic-masculine domineering nobody-will-ever-see-me-soft (not in those words) hero who can handle anything and inspires people to be greater. Eijirou constantly tells him that perfect isn't possible, and he knows that, but... There are times Katsuki needs his boyfriend's level-headed grounded response as much as Eijirou needs Katsuki's aggressive uplifts. Their mutual support makes them work more than anyone would ever know.]
