Word Association is a common word game involving an exchange of words that are associated together. [Furiosa's lucky, some people have to bother praying to find out what a god likes.]

[Her prayers are almost entirely directed at her (maternal) ancestors, though there was probably a time she called on him for rain. Long before the Citadel had her. He wouldn't have been around to hear then, but in a way he answered. Just took a few years.]

Fury. [She smiles, thinking of Fury Storms, not referring to herself, but...it might apply to her in some ways, too.]

[Thor outright laughs at that one, because while it does indeed bring Furiosa herself to mind, there's also someone else that immediately pops into his thoughts.]

Leadership.

[And that applies to both people he's thinking of, too.]

[Well, now she feels complimented, although she can tell he's thinking of something else, too. Her eyebrows go up, questioning, but she's not ready to concede the game yet.]

Protection.

[This one is an easy one, and he smiles at her reaction, respecting her commitment to the game.]

Shield.

[So many of the people Thor knows would immediately jump to Captain America, or Steve Rogers, or both. Not Furiosa, though she's had the pleasure of meeting him.]

Glass.

[Listen, she does a lot more driving than she does anything else. Windshields are the first thing that comes to mind.]

[Now that is a sufficiently how-did-she-get-there answer to throw Thor off his game. That's what happens when you don't drive enough to know what the parts of a car are called. Or, you know, at all.]

Wouldn't that be easily broken?

A little, but you have to be able to see through it or you'll wreck your rig. [She makes a gesture encompassing the boxy shape of a windshield.]

[Ah. The War Rig, that's one that he knows by name, and after a moment's thought he makes the correct association.]

Hm. I suppose so. Can your people craft replacements?

One of the few resources we have without limitations is sand. [Hell of a lot of sand out there.]

There's a glass furnace deep in the Towers. Dangerous as hell, but that's one of the things we've been borrowing tech from the Nexus to fix.

Thor, why haven't I ever taken you driving? I know you can pilot your own world's vehicles. Bet you'd be chrome on a motorcycle.

That's a good question. We'd never thought of it, I guess?

Motorcycle, that's the bicycle with an engine, right? I don't think I've ever been on one. Though I've seen Steve ride one before.

Well, I was hoping I'd convince you to have a meal with me, but a bike ride is just as good. Better give you the one we got here, though, I don't think our old Vuvalini bikes can carry an Asgardian's weight.
