The Introductions Meme

1 ) Post your character to the meme. They're at some kind of social gathering now!

2 ) Then either:

a) Reply to someone your character has a relationship with, be it canon or from other memes, with how they would introduce them to someone else.

or

b) Reply to someone your character doesn't have a relationship with, using one of those introductions as a springboard.

3 ) You may also choose to reply to the introductions of your own character, now with the knowledge of how they would be introduced!

That's one way of describing me, yes. There are plenty of others. I have a way of collecting titles.

Dangerous hobby, title-collecting. Tends to end with guillotines and glorious martyrdom and all that rubbish. Though if you have to have a gravestone, "space worm cowboy" is definitely a good epitaph.

What're some of the others then?

I would hope not yet, though the road I walk is a dangerous one. The One, Lisan-al-Gaib, Madhi, Muad’Dib, the Kwisatz Haderach…really, there are a lot of them and there’s context behind most. Space worm cowboy is a good one.

The Serpent of Eden is the big one, though there's a few others that go along with it. Architect of Free Will, that's a fun one.

Isn't that always the way it is? Giving suggestions to nudge people in the direction you want them to go. There's an art to it.

Huh, clever you. Most people think there's more brainwashing involved. But honestly most of the time they already want what I'm supposed to be tempting them to do and just need a little hint of permission. Can't tempt someone to do something they're not already inclined towards.

Precisely. That's what temptation is - and honestly, a lot of hypnosis works the same way. Most of the time, you can't convince someone to do something they fundamentally don't want to do. Giving them permission, or what they perceive to be permission, and you get much better results.

There are...more unpleasant methods of compulsion, but I'm not fond of those. There are other families that dabble in those, but not mine. We're more partial to enlightened self-interest.
