Introduction meme
The Introductions Meme
1 ) Post your character to the meme. They're at some kind of social gathering now!
2 ) Then either:
a) Reply to someone your character has a relationship with, be it canon or from other memes, with how they would introduce them to someone else.

b) Reply to someone your character doesn't have a relationship with, using one of those introductions as a springboard.

Titans and humans weren't as separate as we once thought.
A race of people called the Eldians possess the power to transform into titans, given the right circumstances.
[He looks back up at her.]
Another race - Marleyians, they're called - confined the Eldian people into internment zones and treated them as animals - even those that had no ability to transform, which would count for most of them.
Those that angered the Marleyians were sent to live on an island - Paradis, my home.
Our memories were wiped. We had no sense of our history.
[He looks back to his hands again - clenching, unclenching, fingers stretching and flexing as if his hand were in pain.]
Over time, more "bad" Eldians were sent to Paradis as titans. They tormented my home and my people for a century before we learned the truth...
[There's more, of course, but he pauses to allow a response. He's giving her nine years worth of information in one sitting, here.]

[Internment zones and excommunication to Paradis, huh… even a memory wipe. It’s a lot to take in, but Aubrey can follow this so far. She’s still got the wrong picture of what a titan is, what they look like… but it sounds like a curse. Because no human with all their wits about them would eat their own, right? It’s absurd.
[That Eren’s not describing the ability so damningly hasn’t quite stuck out to her yet.]
[She watches as he flexes his hands, with a hesitant sort of… interest? Not quite concern. That looks painful—why? Has he done this before?]
You’re an Eldian. [Aubrey doesn’t think before she says that, just makes the statement as the story starts to connect. There’s a creeping unease that stops her from drawing the next line—from Eren, to Eldian, to…]

[Aubrey swallows.] You’re saying that like it’s not horrible. [Yet again, her thoughts on the matter are very clear—
[But she reins it in for once.] Can you control it?

[He sure didn’t seem to react to that first part. Then again, Eren rarely seems to react to much of anything.]
[The unease lingers.] All right. [Aubrey folds her arms. She’s not sure she wants to follow that line any further.] So you learned the truth. Then what…?

Eldians - they have another name too. “Subjects of Ymir” - the “Founding Titan”.
Most can’t transform at will or control themselves in titan form.
There are, however, nine titan forms which can be passed on through a ritual. [The details of which he spares her from for now.] These forms are those which Eldians can control - with practice.
Marleyians recruit Eldians from the internment zones to serve in their military - a chosen few inherit these titans. In exchange, they’re treated marginally better than their kin. “Honorary Marleyians”. “Good” Eldians.
It was two of these that destroyed my home.

[“Subjects of Ymir.” That raises more questions in its own right, but it doesn’t seem to be important, here. (Maybe not yet.)]
[It goes without saying, now, that Eren has one of the nine forms. Has one, can use it? Maybe the distinction isn’t important, when it’s a transformation. Which is… disquieting.]
[Aubrey is distracted, for a moment, considering this. What, is this whole thing some angry vengeance against an unjust world, but in the hands of someone who can actually do something about it? But maybe she’s thinking too simply again.]
[Her gaze falls on Eren’s hands again.] What happened to them? [The traitors, she means. She’s not considering why someone would turn on their own like that.]

One was defeated and eaten, his ability and memories passed to the next Subject.
The other wages war against me now, fighting on the side of the very people he once sought to destroy - my friends, my comrades.
[All at once, both of Eren's fists clench - so tightly that the nails digging into his palm cause little droplets of blood to appear. His teeth are gritting too - to the point of squeaking. He looks as though he's about to burst.
[And then, all at once, the tension evaporates. He's a shell once again.]
Pathetic. Don't let it fool you. Reiner doesn't care about any one of them. His only concern-- [Eren cuts himself off, laughing - laughing. It's quick and short, but it's alive.
[He hangs his head, letting the smile fade from his face. Then, he slowly looks back to Aubrey. There's a wicked fire in his eyes.]
He doesn't want his home to be destroyed. It's funny, isn't it?

[That scares her.]
[Yes, the emotional pipe bomb is taken aback by someone else’s outburst. It’s the contrast that gets her; from cold to enraged to nothing, not nothing, laughing. The reveal of the ritual, being eaten—it passes like a footnote.]
[Eren will find Aubrey regarding him like one might a caged, rabid animal—she’s frozen, for a moment, back pressed against the cold steel of the chair. Praying, silently, that the monster doesn’t get out.]
[Damn, it’s a good thing she didn’t insult his Captain too much earlier.]
I, ah. [How long has she been gripping the seat? When she wills it loose her hand shakes, so she keeps it there.]
I… believe you. [She does, doesn’t she? Maybe not about everything, there’s details missing (what’s Rainer’s home now?) but she doesn’t dare voice it. Eren’s incense, here, didn’t come out of nowhere.]

[Jesus, what else did she expect. Eren’s gradual flatline almost makes her feel stupid, but Aubrey tells herself she’s ultimately not the crazy person in this situation. Relatively speaking, at least. Not the worst? Such different yardsticks....]
[She exhales, ending what felt like the world’s most harrowing staring contest by turning her head aside wholesale.] Well, yeah. You make sense, sometimes, for a psychopath. [Is she trying to insult him? Who knows. Aubrey crosses her legs and tries to make it look casual as humanly possible, like she wasn’t just freaking out. She’s side-eyeing him, though.]

[Taking "you make sense, sometimes" a little too far, most likely, but to him...it does all makes sense. With the background, the story he's telling, she should understand; at least, she should be somewhere close to understanding.]
All my life, my goal has been the same. I was born into this world with a fight to pick.
I seek freedom and peace for the people of Paradis, whose fates were decided before they were even born - and mine, and those that I'll destroy too.
But they - the rest of the world - they are the ones who set it all in motion - they are the ones who determined this fate.
Titan can no longer be separated from man. The evil of the world only reflects and compounds upon itself.
I don't claim to be better than them. I don't claim to be doing what's right.
But I will win. I will destroy my enemy. I will see my goal come to fruition.
[There's a pause - even monologuing supervillains have to take a breath once in a while. He lets it out in a short sigh.]
So, then.
