We were only suspects in one of those. Seriously. But yeah. It tends to be a long term situation for most of the tenants.

I want to ask if they solved the murders but I also don't want to ruin the podcast so I guess I'll just... binge the episodes before I move in.

[mementomora]

Not a bad listen, if I do say so myself, and you'll get to know some of the other residents that way. And my olds, the guys I hang with most of the time. Oliver and Charles, good guys.

[iamsteverogers]

Well I'll be sure to let those young guys know that I've already met you if I bump into them.

Do they like when people say they recognize them from the podcast?

[mementomora]

More when people recognize them from their days on stage and tv. Oliver was a big time theater director, and Charles had a hit tv show before I was born. But the podcast will work too. Mostly, just recognizing them at all is a big win.

Alright, I’ll be sure to do that then. What about you, is podcasting all you do?

[mementomora]

I'm still figuring that out. I'm kind of an artist but, I don't know. Still looking for the right calling.

[iamsteverogers]

No kidding? I used to do a lot of sketching and painting. Been meaning to get back into it.

[mementomora]

I painted this in my Aunt's apartment. I'm renovating it for her.

[ She shows him a picture on her phone ]

That looks amazing. I always wanted to do a big mural and that’s such a great concept for one.

[mementomora]

It was like therapy, it felt great. I painted over it when I remodeled the place. But I've made a few pieces here and there on my own. If you lie painting you should come by, we could do one of those paint-and-sip type things.

[iamsteverogers]

That sounds like a really great idea, actually. I'd like that.

[mementomora]

I think I would too to be honest, and I don't really like a lot of people, that's almost a personalty trait for me.

[iamsteverogers]

Well I guess I’m lucky I’m an old then, aren’t I?

[mementomora]

I hadn't thought about it like that, but...I guess I do have a thing.

[iamsteverogers]

Speaking as an old, I guess we’re pretty lucky you have a thing. Do you have friends your own age?

[mementomora]

I have a few, I used to have my own crew. But one two of them are gone. I do hang out with one guy sometimes, he's deaf but don't let it fool you, he has a wicked snark.

[iamsteverogers]

I'll try and remember that if I ever meet him. That's good that you've got people your own age you hang out with though.

It'll be nice meeting people that aren't just from work.

[mementomora]

I guess that's not something you get to have a lot, people your own age.

Everyone needs a place away from, I don't know expectations I guess? A place to be whoever you are outside of that.

[iamsteverogers]

It's a pretty rare thing. But I've learned to be grateful at getting a second chance at things.

Is that what the Arconia is for you then?

[mementomora]

More than you know. I guess everything about me is more than you know.

I'm from Bayport, but my aunt lived at the Arconia and my mom would let me come spend holidays and summers there. See the real city, get the culture you know. I made some friends and I lost some the hard way. Still trying to get that feeling back.
