THE RANDOM SCENARIO MEME 3.0

- Post your character, name, and series in the subject. Include any preferences as well.
- Go to RNG and enter 1-7 for a scene type, and 1-20 for a scene to play out.

TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.
⑥ Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.
⑦ Aliens → Aliens are attacking and you're not going to take your probe laying down!
⑧ Final battle → This is it. The battle that will end all the fighting for you. Will you win? Will you get that peace you want?
⑨ Training → You're not actually fighting, just training for the inevitable.
⑩ No hope → You know this fight has no hope. It's not going to end well for anyone involved, but you can't turn away.
⑪ Sneaking in → You're stealing a diamond or sneaking in to kick some bad guy butt, but whatever it is, you have to practice stealth.
⑫ Blue wire → You're faced with a bomb that needs to be disarmed.
⑬ Fight for honor → You've been disgraced or someone you care about has, so it's time to fight for honour.
⑭ Showdown → Time for a cowboy-style showdown. Whoever draws the fastest wins.
⑮ War → You're caught in the middle of a war here. Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting.
⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

[Was he seriously asking him that. Stiles felt like the hugest tool on the face of the planet, and the reason for him feeling like that was asking him if he was okay.]

I'm great. Back to the same old Stiles and you're back to yourself. That's what you wanted, right?

[He realizes it's a stupid question considering it's what they've been waiting for, but it's not why he's asking.]

Yeah. But it's been a month. I know you were used to the way you were feeling.

[Yeah, he'd been getting used to it. He'd even liked it. That extra strength, the speed, the feeling like he could do pretty much anything. But there'd been so many pitfalls with it. Like having to fight to figure out what his damn anchor was. Winding up using Derek as a sleep buddy for most of the month. The sleepwalking and the time he'd blacked out saving Derek. Maybe it was because it was an Alpha's abilities or maybe Stiles just sucked at being a werewolf. Both were equally possible.]

And I'll get used to going back to normal.

[God, what was even normal anymore?]

[Derek's quiet for a couple of moments as he just looks Stiles over, but he nods soon after. It's the last they'll be seeing of each other and, for once, he's not being a complete ass about things. He takes Stiles' word for it and knows that if he needs help with anything, he's got Scott. There's no need for Derek to concern himself with Stiles at all.]

Alright.

[He turns and heads off to his car, taking his keys out to unlock the door before he reaches it so he can open it and immediately slide in after.]

[Not that he didn't deserve it, but this felt like some weird final goodbye and Stiles was trying not to frown when he got into the jeep. So what if Derek never saw him again? He didn't want to see him either. A month of forced togetherness was beyond what he'd signed up for and he was just glad that no one had bothered to comment on why he smelled like Derek for the entire month.

He drove back home, still feeling numb with the extra senses he'd gotten used to being gone, parking in the driveway and just sitting there for a while.

Maybe longer than a while. He was actually reluctant to go back in his house, because Derek was all over his room. Even though he wasn't there, things would still smell like him, heightened senses or not. The last thing he wanted right now was to be reminded of anything that happened in that room (especially that), so he found himself tempted to just stay in the jeep. It wasn't like anyone was watching him.]

[It is a goodbye without any of the usual goodbye nonsense that comes along with it since they're not friends. And, honestly, there's no reason for a real goodbye when they'll still be in the same town, even if he plans to make sure they don't even so much as run into one another while out.

Now, Derek can finally stop avoiding his pack, assuming either of them are even still willing to listen to him. A month without an Alpha or any talk of what to do about the Alpha pack had to have left them doing something without him.

It can wait, though. Another day or two without contact isn't going to make a huge difference at this point and Derek just wants time alone. That's why he drives back to his loft and immediately settles in there, glad to know he can sleep in his own bed without any worry of Stiles showing up or anybody trying to scratch his eyes out when he can't protect himself.]

[Nope. No Stiles, because Stiles is currently sleeping in his jeep. What? The seats recline. Sort of. He's just not ready to deal with anything right now and frankly, he thinks he deserves a little break from... well, from everything.

It's weird not being able to hear like he'd been getting used to. Or smell. He'd been enjoying picking up the subtle nuances of the world around him with those heightened senses. He could see why Scott had pulled such a one eighty after getting bit. It was exhilarating.

And now it was like all the color had been sucked out of his world. He kind of felt bad for Derek having to deal with this for the month if that was what he'd been used to life being like.]

[That's exactly what it'd been like, but ramped up with the addition of normally being able to smell or hear when a threat is approaching. It was the loss of that and the strength to actually take care of himself when things went wrong that got him the most because his survival is very much based around his senses and how he functions as a werewolf.

He's sure that it'll take some time for Stiles to get used to his normal senses again, but he's also sure that Stiles can get used to it again. So, he'll do his best not to think about checking on Stiles because, no. That's not happening.]

[Stiles is a big boy who doesn't need a -HONK- Oops. Stiles might want to watch where he's moving when he's sleeping in the driver's seat. They don't recline that much. Good thing his dad's working late. If he's lucky, he won't see him when he finally comes home and walks past the jeep.

Now that he's not in danger of shredding anything, he could take care of a personal issue, but as soon as he thought about it, the idea was completely unappealing.

It was the idea of forcing himself on Derek that had crawled inside him and died. He'd been forcing himself in his bed every night and that had been bad enough. Intentional or not, cuddling wasn't going to hurt anything but their pride. But that last day... What if he hadn't woken up? Or what if Derek hadn't. It wasn't like Stiles had ever been sleeping by anyone when that situation had come up before. He didn't know how far he'd go in his sleep. It seems he'd been doing a lot of things in his sleep that he would have thought beforehand weren't possible. Who's to say what might have happened.

That was the thought that made him feel queasy. Stiles was a lot of things; he was a pain in the ass, he was hyperactive, he stole when he needed things, he lied when he needed to, he was obsessive, he was selfish, but he was not some molesty rapist. Not even a sleep one.]

[As much as Stiles is letting that last morning they woke up together get to him, Derek's already pushed it out of his mind. It was awkward, yes, but his thoughts don't venture to the same places Stiles' do. The lack of control Stiles had over himself at night for most of the month is reason enough to make him shrug it off because nothing happened. He didn't see it as Stiles forcing himself on him at all given the situation and the end of it.

What he wonders about instead is whether or not anything Stiles did while all Alpha wolfed out have or will come back to him. He hopes it doesn't just to avoid the possibility of Stiles ending up seeking him out to yell at him over not telling him he tried to kill the Omega in the woods.

That chase and how it ended is what he's thinking about as he nods off on the couch, falling right into those running nightmares again.]

[If it comes back to him, it won't be immediate. It might do something like creep into his dreams first, which makes sense considering how it was his subconscious doing it in the first place.

He dreams of the nights he crawled out his window and hunted Derek down. He remembers the way the concrete felt on his bare feet, the way he'd felt lonely, so much more intense than what he usually felt. He remembered thinking that his pack was his family and he'd lost enough of that to not want to have it happen again. Not even to Derek.

Mumbling, he shifted in his sleep.]

[Two weeks of absolutely no contact and generally normal life pass and Derek's fine. Stiles hasn't shown up through his window, he's used to sleeping on his own again, and he's got enough of a handle on the nightmares that he doesn't wake up completely exhausted like he did the first few days.

He hasn't explained anything about his time missing to anyone, but he suspects that a few people know about it, Isaac included. He hasn't asked about it, though, and Derek's not offering anything up when they meet. Instead, there's talk of figuring out how to avoid magic because two run ins with it has made him sick of dealing with something he knows almost nothing about.

And there have been a few instances of driving down Stiles' street with no intention to stop. Keeping the window cracked gives him a good enough idea if anyone strange has been by and that's all he cares about. Really.

Everything's been fine until this drive-by. This one finds him slowing down in front of Stiles' house, staring at the windows. The jeep is there and the cruiser is gone and there's a smell that has him stopping in front of a house not far from Stiles' so he can climb out and head back in that direction, listening as he does.]

[Two weeks of life back the way it should be. Stiles had gotten re-used to being lesser than the people he hung out with, remembering that it kind of sucked. But hey, two weeks of absolutely no Derek had given him time to get over the incident that he'd rather not ever think about again. Ever.

He even managed to see to his own needs, almost blacking out when he got to where he was going for. God, he'd missed that. (Which also heralded his return to his twice-daily (minimum) excursions into self love territory)

His dad was at work and that left Stiles alone to figure something out for dinner. He'd gone with a roast beef sandwich with the leftovers they had and chips. Nothing said teenager like chips as a side dish. He was carrying the plate and a glass of milk into his room when he saw a hulking figure over by the window.]

What, it took you two weeks to figure out you don't know where the on switch is on your computer?

[His comment was delivered with all the smug snideness he could muster, until he actually got a good look at the body by his window. Oh. That wasn't Derek. He hadn't gotten a good look at the werewolf he'd knocked out in the woods and his sense of smell wasn't going to help him out here, so he just stared blankly at the intruder for a second before he dropped the plate and glass and turned to bolt further into the house.

He didn't get far before he felt a body hit him and tackle him to the floor, landing heavily on him and driving the air completely from his body. His mouth opened and closed uselessly as he tried to suck in air that seemed like it didn't exist. He felt pain in his side, pinpricks of claws grabbing him and rolling him over roughly. It took him a second of looking up into glowing gold eyes and bared fangs for him to let it sink in that he was going to die. I hope dad isn't the one that finds me, is about all he has time to think before he sees a hand lifted to take a swipe at him.]

[It's the focus on listening for Stiles' voice that gets him the sound and he hears the question as he stops in front of the house, eyes widening a little when the sound of the plate hitting the floor reaches him in his sprint for Stiles' window.

No, no, no. This is why he's still driving by, because Scott isn't always around and things happen. Other werewolves, namely. And all it takes is getting in through the window to know where they are.

Derek's eyes are red and claws and fangs are bared when he enters the hall and grabs the Omega's wrist before he can actually go for Stiles' throat or any other part of him. There's a yank to drag him off then the sound of bones breaking as Derek snaps the wrist he's holding. Then he moves by Stiles, dragging the werewolf along with him down the stairs, purposely cracking his head against the wall along the way.

He doesn't have the issue of blacking out the way Stiles did as a werewolf. Derek knows everything he's doing and he can hear the cursing aimed at him and every sound of pain when he does something in return for it. But he can't exactly kill a werewolf in Stiles' kitchen, so, he drags him into it and then out the back door so he can crack his head against the ground until he's out cold. Again. This time, though, he intends to take the Omega with him so he can actually get rid of him.

For the time being, he leaves him where he is and steps back inside long enough to see if Stiles is alright.]

[Stiles is currently trying to figure out what the hell just happened. The remains of his dinner are scattered all over the hall and the entrance to his room, chips and bread and meat ground into the carpet from feet stepping into it.

The first thing he notices is that he can breathe and he celebrates that fact by taking huge, greedy gulps of air into his oxygen deprived lungs. Oh god, that's good. Breathing is great. As he's enjoying the basic function of his body, he feels the pain in his side, hand going down and feeling the tacky wetness of blood at his side. It's not bad, thankfully, but ow. Bleeding.

He can hear the commotion of Derek, or who he thinks was Derek since he didn't get an actual look at his rescuer, taking the attacking werewolf douche outside and the complaining of said douche until there was blissful silence.

He gets up, moving over to the stairs to head down and make sure that there's no blood he has to clean up in addition to the mess of his meal. He stops when he sees Derek at the bottom of them.]

Uh, hey.

[He comes to a stop the moment he gets to the bottom of the stairs to see Stiles coming down them. He's fine. Derek can smell the blood on him, but if he's up and walking himself down the stairs, he's alright.]

Hey. How bad is it?

[There's a nod up at him because he can see the tears in Stiles' shirt where claws obviously got to him. That seems to be all from what he can tell, though, and he knows Stiles is capable of cleaning his own wounds.

But he still wants to know how bad it is because he plans on returning the favor with the Omega before he does something about him. Killing him for all the trouble is very high on Derek's list of possibilities since he still recalls, in vivid detail, his own being chased through the trees.]

[Stiles looks down at his side and the hand that was smeared with blood. His own blood. Stupid werewolves.]

I'll live.

[He stays there at the top of the stairs, looking down at Derek and trying not to feel relieved that he'd shown up when he had. It wasn't working.]

What are you doing here?

[Yeah, Stiles. Because that's how you say thank you to someone who just saved your life. He was mildly disgusted with himself for that.]

[Derek nods then stares at Stiles for a second. The fact that he still feels the need to ask that question after what just happened shouldn't surprise him, but it still manages to. And Derek ends up shrugging in response.]

Making sure nothing like this happens.

[Then he disappears from near the stairs, wandering off through the house and toward the back door so he can collect the Omega and leave again. He doesn't have the time to stand around and fight with Stiles over his showing up anyway.]

[He wasn't fighting, Derek. He was asking a legitimate question. Especially considering they'd pretty much both nonverbally agreed that they would never ever see each other again.

A small part of him had thought that maybe Derek would be happy if Stiles accidentally had an incident involving death.]

Hey, where are you going?

[He went down the stairs, following after Derek.]

[He expects fighting, though, because it's what he's used to when they're around each other. And the agreement they'd had has been going so well until now. Not that this will be the beginning of anything, but it's a blip.

As much as he wants to avoid Stiles, though, he's never wanted anything to happen to him. Not in the past, not while threatening him himself, and not now.]

I'm taking him with me so I can get rid of him.

[Which sounds a little like he'll be putting the other werewolf through a wood chipper or tying him to some rocks to sink him in a lake, neither of which are bad ideas.]
