THE RANDOM SCENARIO MEME 3.0

- Post your character, name, and series in the subject. Include any preferences as well.
- Go to RNG and enter 1-7 for a scene type, and 1-20 for a scene to play out.
- Have fun!

TYPE OF SCENE.
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!
② Bar brawl → You had one too many drinks, said something wrong, and now you're being asked to take it outside.
③ Chase → You're caught in a high speed chase.
④ Gun fight → You're caught in a big shoot-out.
⑤ Fight with a friend → You're fighting with a friend, all out.
⑥ Interrogation → You're being interrogated for some offense you've done.
⑦ Aliens → Aliens are attacking and you're not going to take your probe laying down!
⑧ Final battle → This is it. The battle that will end all the fighting for you. Will you win? Will you get that peace you want?
⑨ Training → You're not actually fighting, just training for the inevitable.
⑩ No hope → You know this fight has no hope. It's not going to end well for anyone involved, but you can't turn away.
⑪ Sneaking in → You're stealing a diamond or sneaking in to kick some bad guy butt, but whatever it is, you have to practice stealth.
⑫ Blue wire → You're faced with a bomb that needs to be disarmed.
⑬ Fight for honor → You've been disgraced or someone you care about has, so it's time to fight for honour.
⑭ Showdown → Time for a cowboy-style showdown. Whoever draws the fastest wins.
⑮ War → You're caught in the middle of a war here. Remember to keep your chin up and keeping fighting.
⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.
⑥ Jealousy → Your character is feeling jealous and must deal with it, how will they do it?
⑦ Breakup! → This relationship has gone as far as it can, it's time to breakup.
⑧ Broken → For whatever reason, the character is broken, mentally or or physically.
⑨ Fight → You can't even be in the same room as your friend or lover without arguing anymore.
⑩ Lost → You lost the biggest fight of your life and now all you can do is try to pick up the pieces.
⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

CRACK.
① Sexswap → Uh-oh, you're suddenly the opposite sex!
② Forced confessions → No matter what it is and no matter how hard you resist, you're going to be compelled to spill some deep dark secret!
③ Mind-reading → You've suddenly got the ability to read minds!
④ Animal → You're suddenly part animal or transformed into an animal!
⑤ Awkward pick-up lines → You're compelled to use bad pickup lines on whoever is closest!
⑥ Back in School / Graduated → You're suddenly back in school! Or if you were already in it, you've aged and long since graduated!
⑦ Vampires, werewolves, and zombies, oh my! → You're suddenly a vampire, werewolf, or zombie! Maybe even a demon or a devil, whatever creepy crawly you can think of. What do you do now?

⑮ Bodyswap → Somehow you've changed bodies with the other person.
⑯ Back in time → Somehow, you wound up in the past again. Do you try to correct something or just sit and wait for time to jump? Maybe it jumps to various points in your life or maybe you actually think you're back in the day. Have fun, run wild with the idea!
⑰ To the future → Is it everything you've dreamed? Is it horrible? Whatever happens, you're here to witness what happens to you in the future. Either you take the place of your future self or you're just there to watch. Might cause some confusion if people start seeing double though...
⑱ Angels, mermaids, and fairies! → You're not necessary something dark or evil. You're just something different. How do you deal?
⑲ Locked in a closet → For some reason, you're locked up in a closet with someone else. Do you make nice and try to figure your way out or what?

FLUFF.
① Cuddling → For whatever reason, characters feel like being close and cuddling.
② Pillow talk → After the main event, characters are up for some pillow talk.

④ Love confession → Someone has finally decided to confess their love and today is the day!

① Nice meeting you → It's your first time meeting this person! You bumped into each other on the street, in a bar, at work... whatever!
② Drinks → You're out for drinks! Or just chilling at home with some beers. Wherever!
③ Lost → You're lost and you kind of need help finding your way to where you're going. A little help with directions?
④ Costume party → You're at a costume party, both of you are wearing masks. Do you keep the anonymity or take it off and see whose company you've been enjoying?
⑤ Wrong number → Oops, actually you didn't mean to call that person...
⑥ Drunk → You're already drunk! Drunk dialing, stumbling into someone, showing up unexpected... what type of drunk are you anyway? Aggressive, loving, happy? How does the other react?
⑦ Old friends → you haven't seen this person in a long time!
⑧ Rivals → you're suddenly rivals! Or maybe you have been all along...

⑬ My hero → you need to tell this person how much they mean to you. They've been your best friend or your role model your whole life and they need to know.
⑭ Enabler → you're enabling the other (or each other) to do something bad, really bad. Addiction, stealing, killing, or just any other self-destructive behavior.

⑯ Oh, sure, I remember you... → It's that awkward moment when someone comes up and seems to know you, but you have no idea who they even are!

[That has him looking over at Derek, jaw dropping.]

I was what? Oh god, did I hurt anyone?

[Yes, Derek, anyone includes you.]

You didn't hurt anybody.

[Because he definitely would've noticed the blood on Stiles' claws if he had. Derek shakes his head as leans back against the couch.]

You scared the shit out of me and you must've thought something else was here. I thought you were coming in here to come after me, but you ended up checking the room and checking on me. Then you pulled me back up here to sleep.

I what? This is ridiculous. Why am I doing this?

[One obvious reason was that his wolf side liked Derek. Maybe it was because the wolf side recognized where it belonged, regardless of what the body it was inhabiting thought about that.]

I can't keep sleepwalking every night, Derek. What if I run across someone? Hell, what if I shift again?

Don't ask me. I've never done this before, so I'm not sure why you having my abilities would make you do it.

[He shrugs and the next thing Stiles says makes him sigh.]

I'm gonna sleep on your floor for the rest of the time we're like this.

[Derek shoots him a look before he can even open his mouth to start complaining about the suggestion, because he's sure it's coming.]

I don't plan on spending any other time at your house but to sleep. It'll keep you from wandering around in the middle of the night and I won't have to keep looking for a new place to stay.

[His mouth closed and he tried not to say something along the lines of where Derek could shove his suggestion. Logically, it made sense. No more sleepwalking and hey, if anything came after him, there'd be an Alpha there to keep him from getting dead.

On the other hand, it was like he was giving in to the fact that he had some sick fascination with sleeping with Derek. It was a lose-lose situation, even if it was technically a win-win.]

Fine.

[See this? This was him agreeing. He could play nice.]

[His only other suggestion is selfish and he's keeping it to himself, because boarding a plane and flying out of the state for the remaining time would leave Stiles to his own devices. And as much as he wants to just go somewhere that he can't be found, he doesn't want to end up being the reason that Stiles ends up sleep mauling someone in an effort to find him.]

Fine.

[And he's done, pushing himself up to stand so he can start for the door.]

[Stiles gets up and brushes himself off. At least with this compromise, he wouldn't wind up with filthy feet and sleeping wherever Derek happened to find a place to crash. Home was a good compromise. Home without mountain ash was even better. Home where he could get a midnight snack if he wanted and pee when he wanted was the best. There was always the remote possibility of his dad walking in on him, but it was so slim, he pushed it easily out of his mind.

He followed after Derek, feet padding across the burned out wooden slats of the floor.]

Should I leave my window open or are you going to need the door?

[What Derek's really hoping is that having him on the floor almost right beside Stiles' bed will mean there is no need for the two of them to actually sleep together. He can hope. It won't necessarily get him anywhere.

He leads the way down the stairs and out of the house, where he pauses on the porch.]

Just leave the window open. I'll get in through there. And stay here for a second. I'll get my car.

[And he heads off again, around the side of the house and down a trail toward the road.]

[The abrupt demand and departure leaves Stiles on the porch alone, in his pajamas, barefoot and realizing how chilly the morning is, even this late in May. He bounced on the balls of his feet, keeping himself moving out of habit more than actually being cold.

He was also hoping what Derek was hoping, but considering how well that had worked when they'd been in Derek's loft, he wasn't holding his breath. He was feeling overly snappy at the moment and it took him a minute to realize why.

Almost a week and a half of no touchy time. It was morning. Stiles was only (mostly) human. Could it be time to switch back yet?]

[Derek picks him up not long after and the cycle continues with him bringing Stiles home and leaving again. The day passes quickly enough and Derek climbs in through Stiles' window that night so he can settle on the floor for the night. And it works to keep him at home, which is exactly what the aim is. Derek disappears out of the window in the morning and the next week and a half carry on in the same manner.

It seems like the rest of their time stuck like they are is going to go smoothly. That is, right up until Derek's out for a run and he realizes he's being followed in a way that's bordering on being chased. And he tries to keep going on his path back toward the road as he digs his phone out of his pocket, but he can hear the sound of running getting closer to him.

He manages to get Stiles' number on the screen and call him before he's in a full run, dodging around trees as he calls into the phone.]

There's a werewolf chasing-- [He's cut off after that when a low branch throws him off and his phone ends up the casualty, lost in the leaves as Derek keeps running.]

[Other than having to play puppy pile with Derek every night, the time's passing pretty easily. He hasn't lost his temper with anyone, not even Harris, and he's managed to almost get a handle on this whole werewolf thing.

That is, until he gets the phone call from Derek that's anything but reassuring. He can pick up the panic in his voice, hear the huffing breath from the werewolf chasing him and the sound of feet trough leaves before the phone's dropped and the case fades away from the phone.

His own is dropped as he feels that rage and strength fill him and he's jerking the wheel of the jeep to the side of the road as his hands sprout claws and his eyesight changes to the red-lined vision that usually means very bad, bad news.

Fortunately for Derek, the rage isn't directed at him this time. It's all focused on the interloping werewolf attacking his packmate.

He's out of the jeep and taking off into the woods, hunting for a trace of a scent from either the strange wolf or the familiar human.]

[Considering the sheer amount of absolute panic and need to survive running through Derek's system, Stiles should be able to find him pretty easily. Alternately, the smell of blood is on the air now as well since he's got a cut from the tree branch that took his phone.

He's unsure of whether or not he's actually dodging the werewolf after him or if the guy chasing him is just screwing around until he's too tired to run. Possibly treating things like a high speed cat and mouse game before he knocks him down and shreds him. Derek doesn't have time to dislike the thought of it.

All he can do is hope that Stiles got that phone call and is actually on his way because another duck around a tree barely saves him from claws catching his arm.]

[He's running in a weaving pattern through the trees, trying to pick up any trace of either of them when the wind brings him Derek's scent, along with the scent of his blood.

He lets out an enraged snarl, tearing through the woods towards the source of the scent, picking up the other werewolf now as well and picturing how he's going to eviscerate it. The rational part of Stiles' mind is in there somewhere, but it's taking a backseat to the wolf, to the Alpha who needs to protect his pack from interlopers.

Stiles runs faster than he ever has in his life, even when that running's been for his own survival. It's not long before he can hear them up ahead of them, moving fast enough to see them soon after that. The only warning the Omega has is a furious roar before Stiles leaps for a tree and uses it to springboard off and propel himself towards the really, really stupid werewolf.]

[Derek's pretty sure he's dead. Or about to be. The only thing that stops him from immediately being ripped into is the fact that the werewolf chasing him swings his hand a little too hard and claws end up stuck in the tree he moves behind. But, it's a short-lived victory because he's chasing him again soon after.

Then he's suddenly not being chased. The roar hits him at the same time the werewolf behind him seems to disappear and Derek turns in time to see Stiles nearly landing on the guy that was chasing him.

And, oddly enough, seeing Stiles like that this time brings about an immense feeling of relief as he leans back then sinks down against a tree.]

[Stiles is too busy swiping at the werewolf to take any notice of Derek's relief. He smells Derek's blood and that's the fuel for his current state of rage. Soon, he's smelling the strange werewolf's blood, but it's not enough because the stupid idiot is trying to get back up, trying to lash out at him.

He rolls off standing there with claws spread and waiting for the wolf to make its move when it pulls itself up.

Then it makes the worst decision of its life when Stiles is in the state he's in; it looks at Derek like its going to attack him again. There's a sound of bones creaking as Stiles' face changes even more, nose and mouth pushing outward to form something of a muzzle before he's flying across the small space towards him, elongated fangs hunting for the throat.]

[Watching the scene in front of him, and almost having the werewolf attack him again, Derek has to wonder if Stiles is even remotely aware of what he's doing. Because he knows he's going to be more than a little horrified over killing someone if it happens, even if it's somebody that's trying to cause trouble.

Despite his better judgement, Derek pushes himself up and moves for Stiles, reaching out for him as the werewolf under him scrambles, clawing at the ground to try to get away.]

Stiles! Just knock him out. Are you listening to me? [He's at his side, grabbing his arm as he tries to keep himself away from all claws.]

[The need to protect his pack keeps him from lashing out at Derek, but only just barely. The wolf under him is a threat. There's blood on Derek and it's his fault. The obvious way to deal with this is to kill the interloper so there's no more threat.

He looks up at Derek, a visible muzzle on his face as he huffs a growl. Can't he see what he's trying to do here?]

[The change in Stiles' face makes him wonder if, with some work, he'd eventually be able to turn into a wolf like Laura could. And it's an oddly calming thought because he associates that change with things that aren't so bad. Not like the way Peter looked when he was the Alpha.

He wraps his fingers around Stiles' wrist and motions down at the werewolf under him.]

If you kill him, you'll regret it later. Knock him out and we'll go. [He pauses for a second.] I'm fine. You already stopped him.

[It takes a minute or five of internal wrestling, but eventually Stiles looks down at the werewolf with a snarl and smashes his head into the ground. There, he's knocked out. Happy, Derek?

Stiles isn't. Not yet. He's getting to his feet and coming over to find out where the scent of blood is coming from, muzzle against Derek as he sniffs out the source. There's a definite whine when he finds it and he's going to kill himself later for this, but a tongue comes out to clean the wound.]

[Yes, he is. And he knows Stiles will be happy later when he realizes he hasn't killed anyone and he's not all hopped up on his weird Alpha protection high, which honestly confuses Derek some seeing how he's not part of any pack like he is.

Derek backs off once Stiles finishes and he's about to start back toward the road when he ends up with Stiles checking for the cut on his arm. He pulls his arm away when he feels his tongue because, no. And, as if to stop Stiles from following after his arm, he moves his free hand up to catch his muzzle, gently pushing him away.]

Change back so we can go.

[Stiles grabs Derek's hand and lowers it from his muzzle. No, Derek. The Alpha wasn't done checking over his wolf yet. Even if he wasn't a wolf. He growled once, indicating that Derek better just stay put and let him do what he was going to do, and that was check over every visible inch of him to make sure the cut on his arm was the only mark.

Then he moved in towards his face and did something very unStileslike. He bit at Derek's jaw, growling softly as he did before licking it and letting go to look at him.]

[Every visible inch of him is fine, cut aside. And that's more his own fault for trying to do two things at once since running for his life takes a decent amount of focus to keep from slamming into anything. Either way, it's the only mark he's got, so the checking Stiles does will turn up nothing outside of that. Something Derek would've been happy to report if asked.

What he's expecting is heading back to the road after that's done. What he gets isn't that and he just finds himself staring at Stiles, not really sure what to think about the exchange. So, he goes from opening his mouth to closing it to opening it again to not mention it at all.]

Ready to go now?

[There's a huff of warm breath over his face before Stiles comes back into himself enough to see what he's doing. He looks back at the downed werewolf and all he can can see is an unmoving body. The fear has him changing back to human, the process a little more painful because of the muzzle.]

Oh god, did I kill him?

[Derek's surprisingly fine even with Stiles breathing on him because he'd have to be an idiot to think, after all that, that Stiles would try to hurt him now. He waits until he's shifted back and he glances down at the werewolf on the ground, shaking his head.]

No, he'll be up eventually. You didn't kill him.

[He reaches out for Stiles' shoulder and gently guides him away from it, nodding back toward the road.]

I'd like to not be here when he wakes up.

[There's a sense of relief that no, he hadn't become a murderer without even knowing it. He lets Derek steer him away, nodding at the suggestion to get going.]

Yeah, probably a good idea.

[It should bother him that he didn't remember anything past the phone call, but as long as he hadn't wound up actually hurting anyone and Derek wasn't trying to put him down for it, it couldn't have been that bad, right?]
