[So. It had been one hell of an interesting week, so far. Getting used to the city they'd found themselves in-and the weird...lust inducing aura the world seemed to have-was kind of a hassle.

Of course, just being here was...well, let's go back a bit, shall we? One day, while walking the streets of Karakura, Ichigo and Orihime had found a strange, shimmering portal. And for some reason, they decided to just stick their heads in and see what they could see on the other side.

Of course when they did that, a mysterious force pushed them all the way through, and they found themselves deposited on a mysterious desert, with no way back home. After wandering for a while in the desert (and being accosted by weird witches that cast a spell on Orihime, not to mention the nagas), they finally found a city. It had some weird name, and most of the inhabitants in it seemed to have animal features (and uh...other features), but they seemed nice enough. Although they WERE shocked at seeing such 'untainted' humans coming through the gates, and kept asking if they were 'champions' or whatever. Unable to go back to their world, they figured here was as good a place as any to stay, and the guard kept all those weird monsters out of the city.

The only GOOD thing about it was that their powers still worked, so Ichigo was able to dispatch most of the monsters around easily-which helped when a corrupted Minotaur somehow managed to get to the city and attempted to force its way in. And because of it, he managed to get a job working as a guard. Which was boring, but it helped get some money (or gems) for a place to stay, at least.

And well...that aforementioned lust thing made it easier for them to stay together. Because, well, he just thought he could do it by himself, take care of his urges, and she walked in and...well, things happened. And other things were learned, and now they were dating. Funny how things work, huh?

Anyway, at this moment he's staring intently at the two vials of reptilium on the table. He'd gotten them from the nagas they'd met in the desert, but he didn't want to throw them away. And they must have stayed too long in this place, because for SOME reason, he had the overwhelming urge to drink the contents. Even though he'd already been told quite a few of the inhabitants of Tel'adre were the way they were because they put weird things in their mouths.

Well. Maybe he'll ask Orihime about it when she gets home. That shouldn't be too much longer, right?]

[Nope! In fact, that's exactly what's going to happen just now!]
