1. proposal {
1. park - you've been planning this proposal for awhile and have taken your sweetheart to a nice secluded area in the park. are they going to say yes or leave you in the dust?
2. house - dimmed lights, candles, home made dinner. it's obvious you've fixed yourself up for something tonight. let's see if your lover catches on before the question is popped.
3. public event - perhaps you're one who wants to gain a lot of attention; maybe your significant other doesn't as much. either way, this goes from writing their message in the sky with an airplane to something like a flash mob ensemble with others involved.
4. restaurant - nothing romantic like taking them out somewhere ritzy and hiding the rings in that glass of expensive wine.
5. car - you've driven them somewhere nostalgic or meaningful either to you or each other, or perhaps just a good view overlooking the city cause maybe you had no other idea how to do it or couldn't afford anything else.
2. marriage {
1. traditional - both parties have agreed and said yes, and everything goes well just like in the fairy tales you've always dreamed of.
2. arranged - you had no say so in this but somebody else like your parents did. you've never seen this person before until you walk down the aisle. what are your thoughts? are you nervous? what if you two don't get along? looks like you have to deal with it either way. enjoy?
3. elope - nothing fancy. you know, they do make drive thru chapels or perhaps you're just going to experience the excitement of meeting up at the court. all and all, it doesn't matter, just so you have your sweetheart to yourself.
4. shotgun - congrats, somebody is pregnant. there's only one more thing left to do now..
5. disaster - looks like somebody forgot the rings! never mind the fact the maid of honor is having a wardrobe malfunction or that soon to be father in law is causing a scene of some sort.
3. after marriage {
1. honeymoon night - self explanatory! come on, you know what this means. it just wouldn't be the same without this option.
2. new addition - it could be a pregnancy or bringing home a new child, or something as simple as a new pet goldfish.
3. house purchase - after months of living in a trashy apartment, you're both about to sign the dotted line and move into your new place.
4. argument - deep, relationship sort of arguments or something petty like who drank all the milk; it's up to you!
5. divorce - somebody has had enough of this and is ready to move on. how will it all go down?

Another look over told him his husband wasn't much of a dresser. But that was alright, he could handle it. The fact he wasn't bad looking was a bonus. He stopped and let his head tilt a little to one side, smile turning just a little playful.]
Hello. I'm Kurama. A pleasure. [Only somewhat inwardly sarcastic. On any other occasion, it might even be true.]
I have no idea what a Demon Wedding should be
[It would be nice to have people who both know what he is and call him by his name. Naoki gave Kurama a genuine smile, with teeth just a little too sharp to be human. He could think of so many other demons he was glad he wasn't marrying right now.
Naoki held out one faintly glowing hand. He was sure he could feel powerful... something...? watching them.]
Same here lol
His smile vanished when energy flared around them, breath sucking in to keep from quite gasping for it. Bright green eyes widened and he looked around, instinctively wary and searching for... what, he didn't know.]
Time to just make stuff up as we go along
That looked way too familiar for his comfort, too much like the joining of two demons in the cathedral. He tried to pull his hand away, but couldn't. Naoki was just opening his mouth to protest when the sphere above them faded, rather than suck them up.]
Is that... it?
Fun times~
... Humans have the custom of kissing at the end of their ceremonies.
[It was a cautious suggestion, maybe they wouldn't need to. But something kept him from moving further away from the other demon. He raised a brow in silent question, studying the other for reaction.]
no subject
Well, we are in the human world.
[He was feeling more confident now. The worst was definitely over. Naoki closed the distance between the two of them, then paused, staring into Kurama's green eyes.]
no subject
The show of confidence and acceptance washed away some of that unease. He didn't know what he'd do if Naoki wasn't at all sure of himself. He felt a more genuine smile appear as he met that gaze, and he leaned up to brush his lips against the other demon's. Playful. Naoki would have to get used to that.]
no subject
Let's get out of here.
[They'd fulfilled their obligation to get married. Now they needed to figure out what that was going to mean for them. Naoki held out his hand again. Kurama was his husband now, and definitely not a demon Naoki wanted to get in the habit of ordering around.]
no subject
I thought you'd never ask.
[Lightly said, no need to offend so quickly. Kurama slipped his hand into Naoki's, fingers entwining as he turned, free hand sliding into suit pant pocket. He had a feeling this could be a good thing after all.]
Do you have a place set aside here?
no subject
[Naoki didn't really need all the room, but he found apartments, being so close to so many people, almost unbearable since he'd come back. He kept the friends he'd had before, after he'd gone through so much to get them back, there was nothing else he could do.
Maybe he should mention them? Well, he could tell them to stay away until he figured out how Kurama felt about that.]
What about you?
[He had the feeling that Kurama was more picky about furniture and interior decorating.]
no subject
Perhaps he should explain what he was... Naoki had the right to know that much.]
I have a house not too far either. It's small, but I don't need that much space. Do you live alone?
[Who else needed to know about the marriage? Hiei would find out eventually, of course. And his human family... he wasn't looking forward to that conversation. 'Hello mother, I married and didn't invite you. Oh, and don't expect grandchildren as I married another male'?]
no subject
[Because now he had Kurama. Either he would move in with Kurama, or Kurama would move in with him. Naoki had missed having demon company.
Asking what kind of demon Kurama was would no doubt be incredibly rude, since they'd just met.]
I like it here.
no subject
Kurama glanced at him out of the corner of an eye, smiling faintly before he pushed the door open for them.]
The human world has it's advantages. [He hesitated briefly before continuing, tone a little wry.]
I suppose I should tell you I have a human family here. They don't know what I am.
no subject
I have human friends, they don't know either.
[He had long since lost interest in maintaining a relationship with his parents. It had been strained, even when he had been human. After he'd become a demon, he had no patience for their disapproval of his choices.]
Were you not born a demon?
no subject
Ah... That's a bit of a tale, I'm afraid. [He smiled cheerfully enough though, even if it faded fairly quickly as he looked forward again.]
I was born a demon, yes. But about twenty years ago I encounter a hunter who brought me very close to death. So I fled here, lodging my spirit in a human infant. So I was reborn.
no subject
That must have been something...
[This was starting to make more sense.]
I wasn't born a demon. I haven't even been one for very long either. When I found myself no longer in this world, I was made into something else.
[He shivered a little at the memory of the Magatama thrashing around inside him.]
no subject
It was certainly harrowing. I hope not to have to do that again, especially with our new union.
[He paused, thinking about their differences, yet similarities.]
I have some friends you might like to meet. I'd caution you about one of them, but it's nothing new for most demons.
[Hiei would through a silent, fuming fit. Violent, if it weren't for the fact Kurama would keep all of them from so much as touching Naoki with harmful intent.]
no subject
[Naoki had fought too hard to become strong enough to keep the people he cared about.]
Other demons?
[He was curious about that. Naoki had been alone for a long time.]
no subject
Thank you.
[He heard that curiosity. Heh, so his husband wasn't around a lot of demons. He looked on ahead, smile not fading for once.]
Some are demons, some neither human nor demon, and the rest are human.
no subject
[Naoki's curiosity got the better of him.]
What kind of demon were you, before...
no subject
The question earned a mischievous little smile and green eyes flicked to his husband.]
I can show you once we get out of human view. It took years, but I can control the change now.
