Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.

Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket. A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!

So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!

Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

( It had been months since the Upside Down had reared its ugly head for the final time. It had nearly cost the motley crew of would-be monster fighters everything, but with El's powers restored, Vecna had been defeated, and Max and Eddie were left with nothing more than the remnants of their injuries and a hell of a story to tell their grandkids.

The fall and winter times always held a certain kind of bitterness for Steve. Winter was where it all began, where the cracks had started seeping in, eventually leading to his downfall. It wasn't all bad, though. Through it all, Steve might have lost his childhood friends and his first meaningful relationship, but he gained a family thicker than blood.

Steve's parents fleeing to somewhere warmer for the winter season left plenty of empty rooms. As much as Steve pretends it's a hardship to open his doors to his newfound friends, he prefers the company over being left alone with his thoughts and fears. Unfortunately, with Steve's parents away, there are still areas of home ownership that he isn't an expert on, including how to fix the heating system during a freak snowstorm. Under normal circumstances, he would have called Hopper or even Mr. Sinclair over, but neither could make it until the streets were cleared.

But at least he's not weathering this alone. Out of everyone to wind up stuck in this predicament with him, Steve would never have bet on Eddie Munson to draw the short end of the stick. )

I think that's the last of the blankets, ( he announces as he drops a comforter on the floor of his bedroom. ) Gotta say, did not think I'd be building a blanket fort anytime soon, but trying times, et cetera.

[Being marooned on an ice planet in just a shuttle doesn’t necessarily feel like there’s some ulterior motives going on, at least not at this point. But Michael’s not able to shake something. Comms are down. She’s already trying to get the computers back up. This planet isn’t even supposed to be on the trajectory to the planet they are supposed to be going to. It just feels wrong, but not only does she have no answers, but she has no way to get them either.

The warning blares that life support is low. Her eyes momentarily flick back to Lorca, not wanting to admit defeat on the shuttles systems, yet, but their fate may be up to their SOS getting through the planet’s atmosphere.

Can she take that chance?

Her jaw is tight, almost waiting for an answer from him from a question she hasn’t asked. She isn’t going to give up, but even she can feel how cold the air is getting as she’s been at this for hours.]

Do you think the planet’s interference somehow caused us to get pulled in? [Theories thrown at a wall in her mind, because how else do the two of them end up alone in a shuttle so far from their intended target?]
