Heat: Going through cycles is normal for your kind, yet this is the first time you've actually had the urge to full-on procreate. Aphrodisiac: You're so pushed full of juice you can't think straight, but you do know there's one thing you want to do. Drugged: As in the above, you're out of it - this time, even more so. Moving Too Fast: You're attracted to each other, and maybe there's a little something more, but all of that's put on high octane when you're thrown into the fire and have to perform. Better Me than Anyone Else: Whether your love is platonic or romantic, you figure it's better that it's you they're mating with instead of someone who'd be cruel or cold to them. Hate You: The person you despise more than anyone else...is the one you have to breed with? Some would call that a cosmic joke. Never See: Any child the two of you birth will be taken away as soon as it comes into this world. What's the point? Cross-Bred: You two are not of the same species, but there are people or forces who would love to see what would come from your union. Unusual Pregnancy: Did you expect it would be a normal human pregnancy? If one of you isn't human, that would be impossible! Nine months may be far too long of a gestation period, and you can't exactly feel something like, say, eggs kicking. Love 'Em and Leave 'Em: In this world, breeding is like an assembly line. You just do your duty and move on. Mates for Life: ...in contrast to the above, when you breed in this world, you're bound together for the rest of your days. The Deed is Done: They're already good and pregnant, but you are required to continually mark your claim. Tragic Ends: Did you really believe that you'd survive if you went through with breeding? Your performance and hesitation was noted, as was your rebellious spirit. You're less of an asset and more of a liability, so your life is forfeit. Happy End: Actually, it all worked out for you! [Here I am as discussed! I have a couple different ideas, so let me know which one you like best. The first is the tried and true heat/aphrodisiac scenario. I think it would be fun for Kazuki to be the one to go into heat, and for the first time, so he's really thrown off by it. As a result he becomes a big old pheromone factory which coincidentally acts like an aphrodisiac to elves. We can keep some of their prior CR so they know each other. She can also chalk it up as good luck because she'll get an heir out of it, and I'm thinking Kazuki may have been avoiding the topic of sex whenever it would come up because he is under that assumption all elves don't sleep with humans. So he'll get over that. The other idea would be more sinister, sort of touching on #20. Decembra really likes Kazuki and she has no aversion to sex with a human, but he keeps talking his way out of it. So, she and his sister have a little talk. His sister whips up some intricate scenario and costume to scare him into getting with Decembra. She might even stick around to watch. Either way it'll result in 32.]

Nickov had spent several years as an officer aboard Skyliner Cruise Ships, the pay was good, he got to travel, and the work itself was good as well. During his work, he met Dante, who’d also taken a job as an officer. The two got along well as coworkers, and very well when they were off duty. He got to know the man, hailing from human and demon origins, and formed a bit of a kinship with him as the stigma around Valcovlians was much around demons as well.

When he’d earned enough, Nickov bought a place on Evergreen, his hopes for having a family now at the forefront of what he wanted in life now. One day, he and Dante ran into each other at the port and Nickov invited him back to his home, and, happy to have the man around, invited him to come to his place whenever his work-or pleasure-took him back here.

After some time of this, while they had dinner, Nickov spoke up about something that had been on his mind since the last couple times Dante had visited.

“Dante?…What are your thoughts on having kids?” He asked. Nickov wasn’t shy about what he wanted, especially in bed. But the topic was a delicate and serious one. Dante was a great lay, but also a great man, the type he’d be happy to settle down with.

She touches her glass of ice water and then her cheeks, trying to bring down her flush before she does something embarrassing like swoon. She may be young for an elf, but she still has a sense of decorum, especially as a guest.
