[ Holding on to Matthias' hands, he closes his eyes, trying his very best to resist the urge to peek. ]

(( There's a sensation like a sudden rush of wind and Chiaki may feel the earth fall out from under his feet for a fraction of a second. Almost as quickly, he'll feel the ground solid beneath him again. ))

Now, open them.

(( Whne he does, he'll find himself in the middle of Matthias' apartment. ))

[ What a strangely familiar and yet unfamiliar feeling. The urge to open his eyes early becomes unbearable, but by the time he does so, he's being told it's okay to. Disappointing. But exciting! The first thing he does is turn as much as he can to look around for shadows and hidden places. Those are really big windows. ]

Is this where you live?

(( One of the perks of never needing sleep is that he also isn't bothered by whatever light filters in from those really big windows at night. Hence why there are no shades. ))

It is. Make yourself at home.

[ Of course, he's more concerned with avoiding the sun. Which is why he ends up extremely distracted by the windows, only nodding belatedly at the invitation, dragging his eyes away. ]

...I never know what to do when people say that. If I was at home, I'd be dancing.

[ He even demonstrates with a light shimmy of his hips. ]

(( He follows that distracted gaze, then offers a little smile. But, before addressing that... ))

Do you want some music? I'm not a very good dancer, but I'll try.

Is that one of the unspeakable things? Because you're bad at dancing?

[ His attention successfully diverted, Chiaki asks his questions with as sweet a smile as he can, tilting his head. ]

I bet you're not even that bad. Let's do it?

You've figured me out.

(( He chuckles quietly as dishes his phone out of his pocket to connect it to his Bluetooth speaker for some music. ))

What do you like? I'm kinda partial to big band, swing, and jazz.

[ With an amused smile, he watches, looking slightly confused. ]

I've only heard of jazz, out of those... I like all kinds of music, but not everything is easy to dance to. Pick one you can get into the easiest? I just want to see how you move~

(( Whatever music he chooses, be prepared for this sort of ridiculousness. ))

[ Ridiculousness!? Chiaki will dance to anything. He has danced to chanting. Whatever plays, he will find a rhythm and move right along with it with a happy little laugh, don't try to challenge him. ]

(( Trust and believe, the only challenging going on might be who can laugh harder at Matthias' horrible moves. ))

[ He really can't help laugh, mostly from surprise, and in fact has to just stop and watch in awe. ]

(( At least he can find the beat. That's a perk, right? Except when he starts laughing too hard and doubles over from it. ))

See? I told you it's unspeakable!

I'm really surprised!

[ Laughing again, he shakes his head. ]

But it wasn't that bad! It was... speakable.

[ Is that even a term? ...It is now? ]

Anyway, as long as you have fun, there's no such thing as a really bad dance.

(( If 'speakable' isn't a thing, a totally should be. English language enhanced! Matthias takes a moment to catch his breath. ))

[ Look at him, enhancing a language that still trips him up from time to time. Take that, English! ]

Always? What's your favorite thing to do, then?

(( Okay, in Chiaki's defense, English is an abomination of a language. ))

Mmm, I don't have any one favorite. It all depends on what I want to do in any given moment. Like, right now, I'm having fun dancing with you.

[ There's little else that could bring a brighter smile to Chiaki's face, and he just starts shaking his hips again right away. ]

Good! Dancing is one of my favorite things, even when I don't really get the music.

(( Instead of busting out his speakable moves this time, Matthias holds out a hand. At least he’ll be a tad less ridiculous spinning Chiaki around the apartment. ))

[ Chiaki had no problem with ridiculous, but he's more than happy to take the hand anyway. He's really just having a great time so far, so he has no reason to expect that hand to lead to anything less fun. ]

Your musical taste is really interesting. You're full of lots of surprises, Matchy.

(( When you've be around along as this demon has, eclectic tastes becomes the norm. Plus, well, Matthias never wants to be boring. So, liking this and that helps. Or maybe it's bored that he never wants to be. It's basically the same thing, right?

No matter what plays, he's able to pick out the beat and spin Chiaki around in time with it. He might even throw in a dip or two, just for thrills. ))
