DIVERGENT: THE MEME.

-From Wikipedia.
Your character was born in Dystopian Chicago and born into a faction. At the age of 16 they chose a faction - either the same faction they were born into or another faction more suited to their aptitudes. You passed initiation (congratulations!) and are now interacting with former friends and family members, people who you might have met before you officially became a member of your chosen faction. Alternatively you have been brainwashed into these organizations and now embody their philosophy.
1. Roll for your faction. Factions are basically cult-like organizations, they raise their children and their sixteen year olds to follow their faction philosophy. Some of them offer unique skill sets for their initiates. They promote a certain code of dress and styling. Chose your faction you chose your path in life.
2. Meet other faction members, comment on people, throw your way of life around, or generally comment around.
3. Profit.
1. ABNEGATION As a member of abnegation you value selflessness. You believe that vanity and selfishness are the cause of all the world's problems so you do everything you can to not stand out. Your initiation involves community service and learning to set your own identity aside. You dress in gray and are considered "incorruptible", which means that people put your in a position of power.
2. AMITY You exist purely to spread joy and happiness. You're responsible for growing the food for the city and for others. You pursue peace above all, reaching out to everyone. You tend to favor yellow and red and display an almost childish attitude. You're more familiar with music, art, and creativity. You are also a counselor.
3. CANDOR You are honest to a fault, almost unnaturally so. Candor faction members are trained to see through lies. Your initiation consists of being given truth serum until everyone in the faction knows your innermost secrets. Candor individuals prefer black and white clothing, and tend to be so honest as to almost be insulting.
4.DAUNTLESS Dauntless individuals represent the bravest of this particular "Future". As a member of Dauntless you are a thrill seeker at heart, your initiation included (among other things) leaping off of a moving train. Dauntless are distinguished by an over emphasis on thrill and power as well as facing one's fears. They believe in self identity and expression, going so far as to do unusual things to their hair (even the adults) and cover themselves in tattoos and all black clothing. Dauntless are the soldiers of this particular future.
5. ERUDITE Erudite members value knowledge and provide this future with weapons, medicine, and other technological advancements. Blaming ignorance for society's problems, you (as a member) are unnaturally smart and tend to talk down to others and use big words while doing so. Erudites cultivate a look of intelligence, wearing glasses (even if they don't need to use them) and one piece of blue clothing a day. Blue is considered a calming color that stimulates the brain.
6. DIVERGENT Human beings can't be pigeon-holed into one particular social group or structure. While Divergent tries to make this a science, this particular dystopian future has a flaw - namely the "Divergent", or individuals who have aptitude for more then one faction. Divergent are very aware of themselves and have difficulty following the party line of the original five factions. Ordinarily they adapt themselves to their chosen faction, unusual thinkers trying to think along a rigidly structured system. Divergent are also considered dangerous, and hunted by members of the other factions (particularly the Erudite who want to find out what makes someone divergent as well as the dauntless - who act as the soldiers and police for this Chicago.)
7. Nothing is this easy/Wildcard. For the sake of this particular meme, rolling a seven means you were never selected for a faction/raised in that sort of world. Fourth wall other characters, comment on how absolutely ridiculous the whole idea is (It is super far fetched).

HELLO FROM CANDOR.
No he was born Dauntless and he has expressed his concerns about having picked the wrong choice to people in his life who matters before.
Dressed in a white suit shirt, black tie and black pants he does not make an impression. He's not happy about that, he misses it but working...
He nearly slams into the Erudite walking down the hallway.]
...You should watch where you're going. Don't veer into the center of the hallway.

I wasn't aware... My apologies.

[Ironically he's not being sarcastic.]

What you don't trust your own faction leaders? [That's a big no-no Will. never mind Lindsey sort of agrees.]

...I thought your illustrious leader was the only person who showed up at these sorts of things anyway.

From Candor. I thought about transferring there.

[His smile is bright, raising a hand to straighten his hair. but - when he raises that hand Will might be able to see a tattoo through his white shirt. MIGHT.]

They'll be expecting me, too. We can walk together.
