As simple as could be: in a moment of privacy or perhaps in the middle of a crowd, you are the unsuspecting victim of a surprise tickle attack. What will you do?

Prompts:

Accidentally. You were just trying to get someone's attention, and a simple poke or prod got more of a reaction than you were expecting.
Playful. It's all in good fun, at least to start. You're just goofing around and whoever's on the receiving end doesn't mind or even enjoys it.
Tickle Fight. Someone threw out fighting words, and laughter's the way to settle things.
Revenge. The fighting option, but way more one-sided. You're mad, and you know just how to make them regret it.
Lost Bet. One of you picked this as a forfeit and one of you is probably regretting it.
Interrogation. Maybe you're an actual 90's cartoon villain with a G-rated torture chamber, but more likely you're just trying to harmlessly annoy someone into fessing up.
This Better Not Awaken Anything. The obligatory smutty option, we know you're out there.
Wildcard. Mix and match, come up with something new, we're not your boss.

(it might take him all day but he's okay with this. hide and seek in the manor feels like being the kid he never had a chance to be. Cass is so good about indulging him all the playful moments. he keeps up a running commentary as he goes from room to room, checking all her favorite spots.)

-and then he tripped over the rug, fell flat on his face, and said, "Who put that there?"

Cass enjoys indulging him, after all she deeply understands the feeling of losing your childhood. She’d overheard the rest of them theorizing whether or not she was ticklish so when Dick came up behind her and reached for her sides she’d dashed away and hid. She had to maintain some of her dignity after all.

When he fell on the rug Cass dropped down from the ceiling smirking at him before dashing down the hallway. “Too slow.”

He makes a grab for her ankle as she sprints by but she's right. He's too slow. This time. Rolling to all fours gives him a quick start off the line but by the time he rounds out into the hallway, she's already out of sight. He ducks his head into the nearest guest bedroom, looks up, then slinks in to check the armoire. "'How dare you brow me!'"

Note to self: rewatch Megamind.

She hadn’t expected him to recover so quickly. The guest room didn’t have a lot of great hiding spots and he was approaching, so she dove under the bed. Not the most defensible position, but it would have to do. Unfortunately for Cassandra, she found her adopted brother funny, so when he made his quip she couldn’t help but snort likely giving away her position.

He hears her snort and turns sharply from the armoire. Then he makes a mad dive down to catch her. Under the bed may not be the most defensible position but it does have two easy entrances and exits. As he's reaching for her, he accidentally bangs his crown against the bedframe. "'Oh! My GIANT BLUE HEAD!'"

Thanks to her incredible skills, Cass was able to roll out the other side, but now Dick and the bed were between her and the door. She laughed a little as she stood up before putting on a serious face and pointing at him. “Not fair.”

He laughs and rubs the top of his head. “How is that unfair?”

“Distracting.” She begins to move quickly to the right and then to the left trying to make Dick guess which direction she’s going to go.

He laughs maniacally, completely over the top. "'It's a very wickedly bad idea for the greater good of bad!'"

Nobody can read body language like Cass can but Dick is no slouch. She feints right and he mirrors her movement, shifting back again when she darts to the left. He knows she could go either way. Or even try to go over him.

She hadn’t expected him to figure on over so that was her plan. Jumping onto the bed, something she’d have to apologize to Alfred for later, she launched herself. Unfortunately Dick hadn’t moved so she ended up colliding with him.

"'Shock and awe!!!'"

They go down in a heap and immediately Dick reaches to tickle her sides. The opportunity must not be lost! He hopes the reason she's been avoiding being tickled doesn't include a kneejerk reaction of violence. (Dames elbowed him in the face that last time he tickled his younger brother. Totally by accident. He had a shiner for a week. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. Too late!)

By the way Cass he been avoiding him, the answer should have been obvious. As soon as his hands move against her sides she bursts out laughing. Unlike Damian she has complete control of her combat skills, so the most Dick will face is some playful swatting.

So. Totally. Worth. It. He tickles and tickles and tickles until there's no breath left in her. Her laughter is the sweetest music. He's making this a regular thing. Tickle torture.

By the time she’s panting for breath she does reach out and grab his wrists. Sure he won, but there was no reason to let him rub it in. “Break…break.”

He doesn't try to evade her grasp nor does he try to extricate himself once she has him. No rubbing it in. They both have to breathe and recover. Laying there boneless feels good. Her laughter still rings in his ears. "No more. I promise."

“No telling either.” She’s trying to put on her best intimidating Batgirl face, but it undermined by the fact that she’s still giggling occasionally.

“And you owe me a brother and sister day.” Now she was just blackmailing him, not that spending a day off together was a terrible price.

"My lips are sealed." He makes an exaggerated motion. Zippering his lips closed. Dick is almost always talking but he can keep a secret if necessary. Her request is his command.

"Oh darn! Arcade? Or would you prefer a drive south to a decent beach?"

“Arcade. Maybe you win one this time.” To be fair challenging the girl with maybe the best hand eye coordination on the planet would be hard for anyone, but Dick at least put up a challenge.

And while she liked the beach fine, it usually meant showing off some skin, which fit someone with as many scars as Cass raised some uncomfortable questions from bystanders.

[TL;Dr - magic librarian and archivist who collects, catalogues, and stores artifacts and items of power. Overworked, tired, at least a little repressed. Makes a good straight man for characters who need it, or shades of the grumpy one for a cheery.]
