These are a few of my favorite things…

how do you do?
- Your character shares with the class what their interests, hobbies, focus, or goals are!
- Characters chime in. Maybe they've always wanted to learn underwater basket weaving or to overthrow the kingdom. Then again, that other guy may just be here to mock your passions. Questions are valid, too. How do you play Dungeons and Dragons? Why do you care so much about your uncle? What's the deal with gluten-free baking?
- Thread. Have your character learn something new. Build CR.

I've been working my way through St. Irvyne by Percy Bysshe Shelley.

[Jason shrugs.] It's slower going than usual, because I catch maybe half a chapter between helping my friend get his mother's estate all catalogued.

I haven't read that one. That's Mary Shelley's husband though, right?

He also wrote the poem "Ozymandias" -- y'know "My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" -- and the play Prometheus Unbound.

I do miss reading. I... haven't had the time for it in a while now. Do you have something you'd recommend?

I enjoy Agatha Christie's Poirot novels... particularly Murder on the Orient Express.

Oh, that is her latest one, isn't it? I believe it came out earlier this year, titled Murder in the Calais Coach? I've heard she is quite a popular author.
