[ Nazuna never stays overnight for the sake of avoiding any unwanted humiliating encounters with whoever else Crow lives with. Too bad he has found himself waking up in Crow's room early in the morning and having to flee to find the bathroom, scurrying to gather up his clothes in the process. Of course, he realizes that the shirt he grabbed definitely isn't his and he left his shoes in the bedroom so it's not like Nazuna can make a proper getaway after finishing up business. He can't just go back and risk waking Crow but he can't take his walk of shame without shoes.

It is still pretty early... Which is how he winds up in the garage he's kind of familiar with. And that only turns out to be the worst choice he can make. Why didn't he consider the possibility of someone being out in the garage? It's too late for any if's, but's or coconuts. He's already shut the door and gone down the couple stairs. Though there's a good chance the other person hasn't noticed him yet?

[ Ayame had moved to Inaba the same year Ryotaro's nephew came to stay with him. In a small town like that, news can spread fast of a tall woman with foreign sensibilities and a fashion sense more fitting of big city life than the rural Inaba. It doesn't help that she became a witness in the on-going case of serial murders. But with a solid alibi provided by Old Lady Shiroku, Ayame is listed off as a suspect the further the investigation continued, and she got to know Ryotaro at the pub ran by the old lady, where Ayame also frequents to get her fill of drinks. She kept the darkness of her past a secret even under the effects of the alcohol, only giving him glimpses of an unhappy home life and being the only one in her family left, that lead her to travel overseas a lot.

Months pass and eventually lead to this moment. Ayame's humble home in Inaba, organized and clean, full of memorabilia from her travels with entire racks of her many different clothes. It provided a homely ambiance in this traditional tatami room unlike the coldness of a hotel room, making Ayame feel refreshed as she takes her first deep breath, sighing out with a happy hum. She nuzzles her cheek against the pillow, letting her bare legs feel the futon underneath and the soft blanket that covers them up. The sound of birds outside and the bright ray of the sun seeping through the window, warming up the wooden floor outside of the sliding door. ]
