Affection Meme

You suddenly want the affection of another. Whether it's just a hug or you're making sexy eyes at your beau.

Rules:
1. Post your character.
2. Tag to others using rng.
3. Get cozy!

Fluff:

1. Shoulder punch: This person needs to seriously buck up. Maybe a playful punch in the shoulder will help them cheer up. Just make sure you watch your strength... and your aim. You don't want to accidentally punch this person really hard in the face... do you?

2. Tickle: It's time to see this person smile and hear them laugh, whether they want to or not. Grab a feather or use your fingers and go to town on their most sensitive spots. Don't worry, I'm sure they'll forgive you... probably.

3. Hug: Come on now, don't be shy. Everyone needs one of these every so often. Go up to this person and hug them like you've never hugged before!

4. Tackle Glomp: You love this person so much that a normal hug just isn't gonna cut it. You need to launch yourself at this person at full force and just wrap your arms around them until they pop! Don't worry, they can take it! Just... try not to do this around any staircases.

5. Pinch Cheeks: Look at that face! It's so cute you just wanna pinch those cheeks. Please note that we are not responsible for any violent repercussions that may arise from this action.

6. Kiss on the Cheek: Exactly what it says on the kiss. Go right on up to this lucky person and give them a nice peck on the cheek.

7. Kiss on the Lips: Wow. This person must really mean a lot to you. After all, it's not like you would just go around and kiss anyone on the lips right? What's that? You've never met this person before? Oh well, I'm sure they'll understand.

8. Flirty Compliment: Damn this person looks good. Even if you're not the kind to do so, you suddenly feel the need to compliment him or her on their appearance, and maybe even flirt a bit.

9. Just say it: Physical displays are nice, but words from the heart mean everything. From a heartfelt confession, to a casual "I love you man", to those three little words accidentally slipping out, it's time to let this person know how you feel... or not.

10. Holding Hands: Sometimes you don't need to say anything. Sometimes all you need to do is put your hand in theirs for them to know exactly how you feel about them.

Steamy:

11. Grope: This person looks so good you just can't seem to help yourself. Whether it's their crotch, ass, or bust, you suddenly have an urge to grab a naughty place on this person.

12. Strip: What's the best way to show you care about someone. How about dragging them off to nice private place and taking off your clothes for them? ... Okay, that's a terrible way of showing you care, but you're gonna do it anyway! Besides, maybe something else can happen once your clothes are off...

13. Lick: This person looks good enough to eat, and you're feeling particularly naughty today. So? Go ahead and lick them in the spot of your choice. It's not creepy it's... okay, maybe it is a little creepy, but their reactions are guaranteed to be priceless.

14. Sweet Loving: Definitely the most extreme expression of your undying affection for this person. Take them to a bedroom and show them just how much you care about them. Or, maybe you're just kinky. I'm not gonna judge you.

15. Covert Loving: Or, maybe you can't wait to get to a bedroom. In that case, take this person somewhere out of sight and make love to them right then and there. Just make sure they keep quiet. It would be bad if someone heard you.

16. All tied up: Is there any better way of showing how much you care about this person than tying them up before you have sex? Probably, but you're just in one of those dominating moods today. So this person is going to receive your love and adoration whether they want to or not.

4 aka making Emma uncomfortable always and forever. Takes place idk in fluffville.

[She doesn't know what's gotten into her. One minute she's immersed in her book, sipping a mug of warm hot chocolate sprinkled with cinnamon, and all of a sudden, she just gets this urge. Emma's just sitting there at the counter with a newspaper, lost in her own thoughts. But Mary Margaret finds herself looking up from her book and studying her daughter in curious fascination. She contemplates her chin, her hair, the way she slouches when she's tired, that little frown that comes far too easily to her pretty face. Maybe it's an urge to wipe that frown off her face that causes a rather silly and wicked thought to blossom in Mary Margaret's mind.

Should she do it? Emma will hate it. But it will be fun. But Emma might accidentally kick her. But it might make her smile, if even for a moment.

Right at this moment, should Emma look up, she might catch the mischievous gleam in her mother's eye, like a cat before it pounces.]

[With Snow White and Prince Charming for parents, there's never a dull moment around the apartment. It's a small miracle that things have slowed enough for them to have a quiet day like this. Some part of Emma is still expecting the phone to ring or someone to come knocking at the door asking for help, because that's just what happens when you're the sheriff of Storybrooke. If it's not Regina then it's someone else; an imp or a pirate or another witch. Peace never comes easily, leaving her to be suspicious when it does. And yet she still doesn't expect it to be Mary Margaret to change things up, so she's choosing to ignore the look on her mother's face and to assume it's meant for Henry or David.

Her eye lift off of the paper but promptly focus again, and even if she's not interested in anything the Mirror has to offer, she should probably keep up on these things.]

[Mary Margaret manages to not-so-discreetly shift her gaze down to her book whenever Emma's eyes glance up, and there's quite a lot of innocent throat-clearing and hot chocolate-sipping.

Finally she gently--and slowly--places the mug down on the counter. She keeps her book in hand, pretending to read it while she fetches something from the other side of the room. All the while she hums a little familiar tune. Had Emma known Snow White once hummed this same tune to lull a pretty little bird into complacency before violently attacking it with a broom, she might have anticipated what came next.]

Gyyyah!

[--is the only way to describe the squealing sound Mary Margaret makes when she launches at her daughter, arms wide to engulf her, putting her strength in her legs so she can lift Emma off her stool and squeeze her tight in a crushing, slightly askew, elevated embrace.]

What the hell -

[There aren't words for how much Emma was not expecting that. Mary Margaret completely catches her off guard and she jumps at the sudden movement, letting out a surprised gasp as some of this starts to make sense and she realizes her mom did all of it for a sneak attack of a hug.

The laughter follows almost immediately after she settles into that knowledge, and she snaps out Mary Margaret's name in mock warning. Somehow the strength it took to get her still surprises Emma, in spite of having seen Snow White run around the forest. Warrior princess isn't anything new.

The battle cry is, though.]

You're insane.

[Can you tell she loves it? Because those last few bursts of laughter bubble up, and she's smiling as she gives in and embraces Mary Margaret.]

[personal profile] badappled 2013-05-24 04:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[Mary Margaret is way past giggling by now, and the sound of Emma's laughter is as infectious as a disease. Once the ridiculously physically intensive part of the hug settles down, Mary Margaret squeezes her daughter a little tighter, which is a lot easier when she isn't using her strength to try to lift her. Emma's lucky (or maybe unlucky) that she isn't tiny, otherwise Mary Margaret would have her hoisted above her head right now and flying around the room like a plane.

But she settles for hugging her tight, swaying them both back and forth, basking in the playful delight of the moment, which she doesn't exactly want to end.]

I know. I couldn't help it and I'm not sorry.

Not sorry you almost gave your daughter a heart attack? I feel so loved.

[It's only a teasing line, worth a lot less than the way that Emma hugs Mary Margaret in return. The swaying is a bit much, but hey, twenty-eight years without it makes her a little more understanding. She waits to try to pry herself out of it, only doing that after Mary Margaret eases up a little.

No one ever said this would be normal, and all of this explains why.]

Can I ask what brought that on?
badappled: (MM: you do kinda have my chin)

[personal profile] badappled 2013-05-24 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
[She lets Emma go when she feels her start to pull away. The laughter's subsided, and the flash of silliness that prompted Mary Margaret to pouce on her daughter in the first place has abated. She's still smiling, but it's a little more sheepish now. She brushes away a stray piece of her own hair that's fallen in front of eyes, and reaches out to straighten the bottom of Emma's shirt, which Mary Margaret's hug rumpled.]

I don't know.

[She shakes her head and laughs a bit, softly.]

It's been so dreary lately. I guess I just felt like being silly. You know, I don't think I ever heard you laugh like that.

[Or at all, really, not that she blames her. It was nice to hear it even if it took a little drastic coaxing.]

Considering all the drama we've been dealing with, who has time to laugh?

[They should make the time, though. Mary Margaret has a point about that, and how much they've all been struggling. She can't help but feel like it's just one thing after another, one problem resolved so that something else can come to light.

There have been some good things to come out, sure, but they were few and far between.]

I'm just glad we're all together.

[That's what it comes down to. Things aren't easy, but they have each other. She reaches out to prove it, taking Mary Margaret's hand and giving it a gentle squeeze.]
badappled: (MM: good always wins)

[personal profile] badappled 2013-05-25 06:35 pm (UTC)(link)
All the more reason to take advantage of the few times we can.

[As few as they are. Unfortunately, Emma is right. There's so much going on. So much to fret over. Snow White hasn't had a true moment of peace since the day of her wedding, before Regina strolled in and changed their lives forever. Now that they had their daughter back, and a grandson, they should be able to enjoy their time together. To laugh and get to know one another and not worry about what Regina or Gold might spring on them next, or outsiders in Storybrooke, or whether they should make a home here or try going back to the Enchanted Forest.

But there was always something.]

So am I. More than you know.

[She smiles warmly at the gentle squeeze of Emma's hand, which reassures her all the more that this was worth it.]

We should do something soon. Take the kid on a picnic, or spend a day at the beach.

[Summer is right around the corner, maybe things will be better then. For her part, Emma is already looking forward to Henry being out of school and all of the things they'll be able to do together. With David there to help, she should be able to cut down on some of her hours at the station so that Henry gets more of her attention. And with Neal around, he probably won't want her to hover all of the time.]

You like the beach, right? I know the forest has some friendly animals for you to talk to, but there's always the seagulls.

[She grins wickedly, choosing to make light of one of the most confusing things Mary Margaret is able to do. Sure, back in the Enchanted Forest communicating with animals might be normal, but here...

It's a little on the strange side.]
badappled: (MM: bitch plz)

[personal profile] badappled 2013-05-28 02:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, actually, seagulls aren’t really the friendliest—

[Waaaait a minute. She sees that teasing smile and her mouth opens in exaggerated indignation. Hey! She gives Emma a playful little slap on the shoulder with the back of her hand, a gesture that has little trace of actual scolding since Mary Margaret can’t help but smile.]

I’d love something like that. I’m sure Henry would too.

[personal profile] sheriffing 2013-05-29 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
[Yeah, her kid isn't the sweetest. Or the fairest, for that matter. She still ends up laughing and giving a little mock 'ow' at the slap.]

Then we should do it. And when I said soon? I meant before all hell can break loose, again.

[The fact that it will is inevitable.]

badappled: (MM: blue bird)

[personal profile] badappled 2013-05-29 11:06 am (UTC)(link)
[She sighs a little at that, because Emma’s likely not wrong. Can’t they just have one moment of peace that isn’t followed by craziness?

Oh well. No use fretting over it now. The best they can do is be prepared for whatever comes next.]

Soon, then. Maybe this weekend. I’ll throw something together.

[AKA her wheels are already spinning, which means the plan will be set as soon as she talks to David. This is going to happen, and nothing is going to ruin it.]

[personal profile] sheriffing 2013-06-02 10:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Good, we'll be on-call instead of drowning in paperwork.

[Having David with her at the station helped, and it made things a little less lonely on the slow days. On weekends they could relax a little more, check in as needed and hope people didn't go crazy with the magic. It was good enough for her, and probably the easiest time for them to slip away unnoticed.

Plus, they could always have Granny help them out. Giving her permission to carry a weapon kept her interested enough.]

Let's just not tell Henry until we're ready to go.

[So that if something does happen, he's not the one who's disappointed.]
