[The more Jason complimented her, the deeper the flush on her cheeks became. It had pretty much spread from her cheeks to her ears by the time he tapped her nose, making her snort and scrunch up her face at the contact.]

That's not fair. [Even if it was too late at this point, Kara tries to hide how red she is behind her hand.] I didn't expect--You just hit me with everything at once!

[Not that she hates it (she's very flattered, in fact, judging from the grin she's failing to hide). He does know that Kara can get shy when it comes to this sort of thing.]

[Jason takes mercy on Kara and pulls her into a hug, so she can hide her red face from him -- since she seems to want to.] I must have misunderstood when you said "one or all or none", then.

[He rubs at her back in a soothing manner.] There's lots of things to like about you, Kara. Your physical traits are hardly "everything".

[She gives a little squeak in surprise when he pulls her into a hug, sighing before kissing his shoulder and then settling against him with her arms around his waist. Jason might notice her body radiating a lot of warmth while holding her.]

No, you didn't. Hearing all of that... made me really happy.

[Kara practically melted at the back rub, sighing again as she nuzzles him.]

I know. Hmm, thank you for liking awkward little me, Jason.

Oh. [Hearing that and calling her sweetheart just made her blush have its second wind, making her curl into Jason more.]

It's not that I don't like it. I got a little overwhelmed with all the good feelings I felt after hearing them, is all.

[Kara finally looks up at him, a shy smile in place.]

[He drops a kiss to her head when she curls into him and starts stroking his hand up and down her back instead of rubbing in small circles.]

[She sighs, feeling all that tension melting away the more he rubs her back like that. Kara's hand reaches up to gently cup his cheek before leaning to give him a long, lingering kiss on the lips.]
