[ Misao had been working away at an anniversary dinner the entire day while Ky was away, but of course that didn't go well. So now she is bolting through his front door with arms full of takeout Chinese food, and she is determined to set up plates and get rid of the evidence before Ky gets home.

It’s late.

And Tasuki is just getting in.

By getting in, he’s not coming through the front door or anything conventional like that, no, he’s climbing through a carefully selected window. If you really want to know he went through great pains to find a window where it looked as though there was no life to be seen. He didn’t want to be caught sneaking in after all, not that he was scared or anything. Scared, bah, bullshit! It’s not like he was some naughty kid sneaking in after curfew, not that he would care about such things, but still…this was his place too and he could sneak in the windows if he felt like it.

A straight shot to the bathroom would be nice.

But why was he trying to climb in through the window in the first place?

It was late, very late…that was true…

But even more importantly he’d been hanging around a certain friend and a certain friend’s cat all evening. Said cat decided he wanted to fight Tasuki for his fish dinner and needless to say, apart from having a few scratches to contend with, he’s been marked with a very potent cat scent. It wouldn’t be bad if Hazama didn’t have a nose that was about as sensitive as a bloodhound’s. If he could just get to the bathroom he could remove his clothing and burn them to a crisp—because why would anyone ask about the bandit lighting shit off in the bathroom…? He’s a pyromaniac. After that he’d take a bath and relative peace would be maintained.

Good plan?

So with all of his bandit stealth the redhead slipped in through one of the windows and made a beeline for the bathroom. Never mind that it was quiet…and that it was just too easy…he didn’t think that there was anything off about it. Not for a minute did he think he could be walking into a trap. Seriously?

[Sophie sighs out quietly, sweeping the last of the dirt out of the door. That is the last of the cleaning for the day that needed to be done, but it's just about dinner time. She sets the broom off to the side and steps back into the house, glancing back over her shoulder at the door.

Where exactly was Howl? Was he out? Was he upstairs?

Sophie has no idea, but she decides he'll show up soon. He knows what time dinner is and knows he will be expected! So she heads into the kitchen to start cooking.]
