The Body Heat Meme



Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Drawing in a deep breath, she shrugs, "I'm not going to injure you if that's what you're suggesting."

"It's too cold to even think about physical violence."

Another moment of thought passed before Stiles pulled himself up to look at her over the edge of the bed. "Um... you want to be the big spoon or the little spoon?" Both provided their own potential for disaster.

She sat up a bit, propping up on her elbows. "Does it matter? Just get up here." Moving over, she made room for him on the bed and untucked the blanket from around herself.

That decided him and he scrambled up onto the bed, moving to slide in next to her and pull the blanket over himself. Small tremors were going through him, his body still chilled as he tried to lay on his back beside her as still as possible. Look, see? He was completely non-threatening.

All the small tensing of his muscles was easily felt against her. That just made her feel bad because she knew the sort of soreness that could come with that kind of muscle reaction. Turning onto her side, she moved to press against him more.

"This is just until you stop shivering."

"Uh huh." He tried to still the movements more when she moved against him, but he couldn't seem to stop the fine trembling or the twitches of his body. The places she touched almost started to feel warm and he was wondering if she'd get mad if he curled up closer. She gave of more warmth than he did and his body was starved for it.

As she tried to keep close to him, she was realizing how this was the most awkward way of laying beside someone. She'd shared a bed with most of her pack, the long days and nights of training just making things easier to fall asleep wherever was closer and expect Derek to wake them up in the middle of the night for more training.

That was simple. This was weird as her arm pressed across his chest and she tried to pull him against her to keep him warm. Apparently, she wasn't going to let him freeze to death.

"Are you even comfortable like that?"

"I'm, uh, I'm, no." He huffed out a sigh, turning to look at her. He could feel her arm across his chest, a band of warmth cutting through the cold. It only made him want to turn into her and steal a little more of it. She had plenty to spare, right? And it wasn't like he wouldn't be sharing what little he had.

"If I, you know, moved a little, is that okay?"

Her arm lifted up and away from him, into the air awkwardly, "Go ahead and move to whatever."

He thought about which way to roll, towards her or away. Oddly enough, he thought if he rolled away, it might be a bit of an insult to her, considering what she'd done to him to help him out of an awkward situation before.

Slowly, he started to turn towards her, arm coming up to try to move over her hip so he didn't wind up copping a feel.

She shifted to allow his movement, to settle in against him. It's not exactly easy, considering that she wasn't the flattest of girls. His hand settled to her hip and she allowed it, not really sure he could put it anywhere else comfortably.

"Better?"

Speaking of non-flat chests, he could feel the side of her breast pressing into his chest, making him flash back to the last time he'd felt her pressed against him.

Oh damn.

"Mmph." Which was Stiles for 'yes, but I'm trying to concentrate on not reacting to the awesome tatas I'm almost touching', something easier said than done.

He might have been fine, but the more he curled in against her, the more she needed to shift so that she wasn't awkwardly pressed there. Turning toward him, she pulled her head back when she realized how close she was to his face.

"Sorry," she apologized, but shifted again, curves pressing against him as she shifted and eventually felt her knees aligned to his. "Alright. Are you okay?"

"Yes." Was his voice a little high? Maybe she wouldn't notice. Now it was both breasts against his chest, his heartbeat ratcheting up a little at the knowledge.

In one interaction between them, Erica and his paradigm had shifted a little. She was more on his radar in terms of her being a girl, an attractive girl. One who'd seen him and hadn't laughed or made a joke.

Every breath she took resulted in her curves pressing in against him more. Still, she didn't really move very far from him. He was really close to her, too. Not just his body, but his face. She was trying not to stare at him, but he was right there.

"I could turn around if you don't want to stare at me."

"What? Why? I mean, I don't mind." It was true, and if she used that werewolf sense she had, she'd pick up on that. She had dark brown eyes, darker than his, and it wasn't exactly a hardship to enjoy being pressed close, or to pick up the subtle scent of her.

She shrugged, which pressed herself in against him more, but she didn't really mind this time.

"I don't know, I don't want you to think that I'm going to do something to you."

"Something? No, I don't think something." He was so thinking something. Something that involved those hands. He might have shifted his hips back just a little. Just in case.

She felt that shift and smirked, trying to hold back her amusement, "Did I already do something to you?"

[teenyoda]

"Nooo." Yes. The smile wasn't helping. He knew that smile. That smile either came before a threat or that an offer to put her hands where they did a pretty damn good job of making him feel good.

There was an amused exhale that came from her, "Alright."

Taking a deep breath, she shifted again. It was easier to settle in against him, to not pay attention to him looking at her, to not look at his mouth, into his eyes. At least they weren't thinking about being cold anymore.

Cold? Who was cold? He was much more concerned with how close she was and how easy it was to let his hand slide down a little lower on her back, to tuck her in against him. Very easy. Too easy.

Well, those hips just inched their way back toward her frame. Erica wasn't about to make mention of it, but she was feeling that he was more relaxed, which was a good thing. No more shivering or chattering teeth.

"Are you gonna get sleep?"

[teenyoda]

"Um, maybe." He could try, but he had a feeling he couldn't. Not yet. Not with her breath ghosting over him. She was so damn warm.

"Are you warm enough, at least?" She didn't want to go through all of this and have him still actually feeling cold. Maybe his feet or something wasn't covered enough.
