It's springtime! The days are getting lighter and flowers are starting to bloom, and everywhere people are starting to look forward to summer. There is however a lot of things to do in spring as well, so why not enjoy the season while it lasts?

One ➟ Spring cleaning!
No one feels like cleaning in winter when everything is dark and it's more tempting to just curl up on the couch. But now that spring's rolled around it's time to roll up those sleeves and give your home a proper shine... Did that dustbunny just skitter further under the couch?

Two ➟ The great Outdoors!
It's getting warmer outside and the light lasts longer, so why not go out and enjoy it? The flowers are starting to bloom, love is in the air... It's a great time to get some fresh air and just hang out. Make sure to dress according to the temperatures though, those spring colds aren't something that should be trifled with!

Three ➟ Picnic!
Grab a blanket and a friend, make some food and get going to the nearest park. Hopefully at least one of you knows how to cook.

Four ➟ Go camping!
Nothing like spring and dragging a whole bunch of gear up the mountain, right? Likelihood for remaining snow is high, so bring plenty of warm clothes. Maybe there'll even be skiing opportunities!

Five ➟ Camping Lite!
Set up a tent, bring sleeping bags and snacks. If you get hungry for real food, the house is right there! Camping in the backyard is always fun.

Six ➟ Yard Sale!
After spring cleaning there's always something laying around that you probably don't need any more, so set up some tables, put your business face on, and get selling. Or maybe you're at one instead? Hope you know how to haggle.

Seven ➟ Couch Potato!
Bundle up inside, it's still too cold out! Maybe grab some boardgames, a deck of card and a friend or two and have fun all night!

Eight ➟ Icy Bath!
It's spring, it's getting warmer, and... Oh, it was probably too soon to take a dip in the lake. Or at the beach! Are your friends laughing at you, or suffering frostbite alongside you?

Nine ➟ Love is in the Air!
Or the obligatory shipping option! Springtime's a nice time to take your loved one on a date. Go eat outside at a restaurant somewhere, do some fun activities in the park or maybe go away on a holiday together just to get away!

[It's a welcome touch - a little warm to fight the chills, so she smiles.] Guess we survived.

[yeah because obviously that is the goal in running his hands over her back. Yep totally just warning her up here] Looks that way.

[Whatever he's doing, it's working. She'll take it. She tilts her head to press her lips against his cheek.] I don't want to hear that I'm not fun.

You won't. [he tilts his head to the side, capturing her mouth. When he's just feeling, it's easy to get distracted and act on impulse]

[Hopefully what he's feeling is good, because Emma's still getting over the rush of jumping in the water and kissing August only adds to it. She lifts a hand to brush her fingers along the back of his neck and leans a little closer.]

[good is definitely what he's feeling right now. Emma is in his arms, and he places a hand between her shoulders to keep her there]

[She doesn't make any moves to pull away on her own. Her free hand slides down his arm gently and she dips her head, pressing her lips to his shoulder.] So, clothes...

[Emma isn't cold anymore, but they should get around to putting those on.]

Clothes? [honestly the farthest thing from his mind right now. Like not even registering on his radar]

Those things we wear so we don't have to walk around like this. [She laughs lightly against his skin, placing another kiss there.] Or maybe this was all part of your master plan.

[feeling her kiss his skin gives him a pleasant shiver. If she actually expects him to get dressed, she really should stop distracting him like that. He tangles his fingers in her hair, rubbing her back]

Maybe.

Damn. [She actually expects both of them to be dressed, but it's a little hard to stick to that when he's still touching her. Following impulse was the right thing to do for a change and she feels more alive right now for it.]

[he moves his lips to here neck. He hasn't kissed her there in a while and maybe that's why he's paying attention to the skin here. Making sure to leave a little hickey along the way]

[It's been long enough that Emma isn't even going to complain about that mark later, even though she draws in a sharp breath to have his lips there. Her hands move to his chest, and she's aware that she should make some effort at thinking, but she can do that when his mouth isn't on her because at the moment it's a lot to ask.]

Emma... [oh this is going nowhere good. Or only to good, depending on how you thought about it. Either way, his breath is teasing her skin and his hand is on her hip]

[She nods when he pulls away, clearing her throat and reaching for her shirt and jeans so that she can start to tug them back on.

He's going to be the death of her, no question about it.] ...Thanks.

Anytime. [he looks almost disappointed, but he moves to get dressed anyway]

[She just needs to not touch him, ever. That might be better than this.]

How was work?

[Her hand wanders up to that new bruise on her neck after she tugs her shirt on, her fingers playing over the fresh mark there.]

[she might not want to touch him, but he wants to touch her. Even unnecessarily, like smoothing out wrinkles in her shirt]

Slow. I ended up tying up pages for my book most of the day.

[What she wants has nothing to do with anything these days. She steps away when he reaches to adjust her clothing and pulls her wet hair away from the collar of her shirt.]

Still sounds more productive than I was.

[disappointed, wondering what he could've possibly done wrong this time. But he pretends not to care]
