Aegir territory tends to be spared from the worst of it, but there is one particular home his family has had for generations, nestled in the mountains, that is known to get some snow, but Ferdinand never expected that it would get snowed in so thoroughly.

And just when he and Euphie has gotten a moment to themselves. But he's not one to complain, and the den has made for a rather cozy location to hunker down. The howling wind makes the fire in the fireplace dance a bit, and it does make for rather unpleasant background noise to Ferdinand's ears, but the crackling of the fire and the simple pleasure of pouring some hot tea for his beloved, whom he has bundled up in a blanket on the loveseat, make it hard for him to have much to complain about. ]
