So it wasn't really a wonder that he'd be found looking up at the sky, velvet black and purple sparkling with gemstone stars. He wasn't a ground fighter, that wasn't his nature. Sure he was handy in any fight but his gifts were up there.

He could fly anything with a yoke and engine, she'd still never seen anyone who could compute coordinates like he could. She'd seen him drive and it was the same, any conveyance was an extension of himself and he could make it dance. So why then was he still here? He'd dropped cargo and that was all he'd agreed to do for pay.

"There's food back at camp, and I have drinks in my quarters. If you don't have to take off right away I could be convinced to share." Maybe even find more work for him, there was always something, for her there was always something somewhere else soon.
