Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

[ Nancy Wheeler hadn’t been wrong. Billy hadn’t made friends in the Fog, had he? Still, a trial is a trial, and he understands well enough how a team operates. He understands team sports. Just, during this one, if you underperform, you die. He may not have bosom buddies, but there are survivors he works best with. Yui is one, maybe almost a friend. David he gets, but they run similar plays. Jeff is alright, and Adam is focused. Laurie is a piece of work, but she’s taught him harsh lessons.

Then there’s the others from Hawkins. Sticking Steve into a trial with him is asking for trouble. And how often has he barked at Jonathan while on the same generator? Snapped at Nancy while she soothed his split skin back together? He snaps at other survivors, but the Hawkins group gets under his skin. They know him too well. They know what he did. What was done to him. They aren’t his friends, and he was alone, and then he died, and now he’s here. With them.

This trial went ok, even with Nancy Wheeler there alongside him. Bill died. Bill is always dying, always risking it all for the others, even if Billy can’t stand whom his attitude reminds him of. Billy doesn’t know if Claudette got out. She might have, but he and Nancy practically fell out of the west gate together, moments from a knife to their necks. He doesn’t talk to the other survivors that often. They’ve known Nancy and Steve a long time. They’ve known Jonathan a long time. They’ve seen how Billy and Steve snarl and bite at each other’s heels. So they know a little something about Billy. Still, he hopes Claudette got out. She’s alright.

Then, he isn’t really giving her much thought at all, because respite doesn’t turn into a muddled memory and stumbling toward a warm campfire, he’s just — standing. Still in Lerys. He’s still in Lerys, except, they’re both in Lerys. Nancy is panting beside him. They’re both exhausted, both breathing hard, both covered in blood and aching and — the trial isn’t over. Except, it is. He can feel it in the air that this is stagnant Lerys, not trial Lerys, where everything is moved around and a little unreal.

He takes a step forward, stumbles, presses a hand against the wall to steady himself before yanking it back. It’s so cold. It’s so cold, there’s no campfire, and the cold always seems to worm its way into his chest, makes him feel not quite right, like he’s going to lose his control again, lose it to a shadow and then... ] What the fuck?

[ Eloquent. But he takes another step and winces. They didn't leave the gate hearty and hale. He might still be bleeding. Her too. He doesn't really want to talk to her, but the sudden unknowns make it easy. ] What the fuck? [ he hisses. ] What is this? Do you know what this is?
