You can't improve on simple perfection, I find. I'd have to go with the most pastoral of romances: a girl, her lover, and her iron maiden.

Not at first. [ A dreamy look. ] Nothing to numb the senses. You wouldn't want to dull the exquisite experience.

To achieve that sort of euphoria without inebriation... You're either very experienced, or you trust your partner implicitly.

Oh, I wouldn't inflict anything close to pain on someone I don't trust. What would be the point?

Well, there are certainly more casual gatherings. I've attended a few rituals where this was the norm - pain and pleasure without emotional intimacy.

Covens didn't have as much oversight back then. It's a wonder we didn't end up headfirst in an open grave back then.

[ Sister was almost wistful too, except that those days were barely yesterday, still too fresh to truly miss. ] You know, in the same vein as you, I've had my share fair of "parties" - but I've only experienced l'appel du vide once.

Sister Imperator fell silent because Morticia's comment about burning for one sole entity hit too close to home. It was what made... monogamy... suddenly so natural, even when it wasn't really demanded of her, a Sister of Sin. ]

I'm pretty simple, I guess? A casual dinner, or maybe just coffee. Not a movie theater! Something where you can actually talk and get to know someone.

But I'd be lying if I said I'm not a sucker for the romantic. Kinda always wanted the date picking me up at my front door with a bouquet of flowers thing. That'd be cute.

We meet in the library after class. We sit across from each other, where we do our homework quietly. We do not make eye contact, touch hands, or speak to one another. If we must converse, it will only be when we test each other using flash cards, and the conversations will be brief, as talking in the library is poor manners. Our date will end when the two of us are finished with our assignments.

Is that satisfactory?

So, what I described qualifies as a study date, but study dates are not considered real dates... I see. That's a pity. I would indeed prefer something like this over a traditional date. Dates in general are a waste of time.

Ugh, I feel like I'm opening up a can of worms, but here goes.

I... don't want much, really. Having a good time somewhere we can both enjoy would be fun. Maybe seeing a movie or going doing something physical like sledding or swimming.

If it's warm like it is now, going to eat parfaits would be nice.

Honestly, anywhere we could relax and just be ourselves without too much shit going on.

Having a nice meal together, perhaps taking a walk together. I have enough excitement in my day-to-day...something peaceful would be ideal.
