don't be ashamed. we've all got them, characters we just...man. they're great. love them. chef's kiss. couldn't be more perfect. of course, we don't always have a reasonable excuse to tag them, and that doesn't quench our thirst.

so why wait for a reason? just admit to your character crush! whether they're a castmate, crosscanon who'd be a perfect fit, or a total rando that wouldn't meet your blorbo in a thousand years, there's no more need to vaguepost on rpanons about characters you wish would notice you.

tell us here. this? this is a judgement free zone. be as thirsty as you want on main. and maybe, just maybe, your prince/ss will come.

Since you've heard me out in venting about my feelin's and all, how about I treat you to some food? I make a mean onigiri, you know.

[ because the universe has decided he needs to be more embarrassed, haruto's stomach grumbles in response. he laughs, hand in his hair. ]

Well - I won't say no if you insist... I ran out of my apartment late for work so I skipped breakfast.

[Osamu grins. This guy is seriously cute.]

Alright, then I'm insistin'. I definitely can't function without at least three meals a day. What's your favorite?

Oh, man... It's a toss-up between tuna mayo and okaka.

But — I'm feeling adventurous today. [ clearly so, having approached the man like he had. ] Why don't you make me your favorite to eat or make?

[Osamu grins at Haruto.] Sounds like you've got some traditional tastes. I think I've got an idea.

[He sets about putting together the onigiri. Finely chopping some spring onion, mixing it with tuna, and folding it into fresh, warm rice.]

Tuna and spring onion. It's my brother's favorite.

[phyt]

[ haruto watches with rapt attention. he's clearly in the presence of a pro here! when he's given the finished product, he spares a moment to thank osamu before helping himself to a big bite. he demolishes near half the onigiri in one go, and after some thoughtful chewing his expression lights up. ]

Hey — that's really good! Your brother has great taste.

[It's always rewarding to watch someone enjoy the food he's made. Haruto's big bite feels like a compliment to Osamu, along with the bright look on his face.

And then he has to go and say a thing like that, making Osamu scowl for a brief moment.]

Don't let him hear you say that, he'll be insufferable. Even more than usual. But ya really like it, huh? I have enough to make ya another one, if ya want.

[ haruto has to laugh at the sudden shift in osamu's expression. he's an only child, so he'll never fully understand the dynamics of a sibling relationship, but he knows enough through osmosis to know that osamu's feelings towards his brother are not uncommon. he finishes off the rest of his onigiri in two bites, reaching up to wipe at any errant pieces of rice that stick around his lips. ]

I'd love another — but I'll have to insist you let me pay for it this time.

[The corners of his mouth quirk up in a pleased smile.]

If you're gonna insist, then I guess I don't have a choice. One more onigiri comin' right up.

[And again, he prepares it with deft hands, even faster this time since most of the prep work is already done.]
