Which, unfortunately, just makes her as intoxicating as it does dangerous. Her honeyed words and honeyed eyes have him drawn in, coaxed, pulled into her orbit. Impossible to escape.

And just because she didn't ask him to come like a dog doesn't mean he doesn't feel the tug of an invisible leash around his throat. ]

[ It's not a question. She knows he won't and in truth, it really wouldn't matter if he did. She's not all that concerned with the opinions of others. However, he does worry and she figures it might be better to put his mind at ease.]

[ Really, how would he react, if he knew what she really was? If he knew what was going on behind her lovely, almost angelic face? Would he turn away in horror? Most would, certainly. Most would look at what she was, and what she wanted, and what she was capable of and try to escape at the first opportunity.

But he had already sold so much of himself to Devils. His life, his flesh, his pride. What was a little more, to secure his revenge?

Ah, the capacity for self-destruction these humans hold.

In this, at least, he doesn't know it. When he puts a cigarette between his lips, when he makes a deal with a Devil, or draws the sword of the Curse, he knows what he's giving up. He doesn't think to wonder but she's thought about how quickly he'd try to kill her if everything was out in the open. Also, would he humor that other hunter friend or anyone else who wanted him.
