[After they'd spitballed the idea of a beach date, Shouji had taken it upon himself to double check the weather for the weekend, ask one of the girls if they had a spare blanket that he could use for exactly thus purpose (and ended up being cooed at over him being all romantic about it), and then make loose plans for food to bring so that they wouldn't have to stop off anywhere or have to go get more. Which is why when he texts Izuku to meet him outside, he's holding a large cooler, along with a bag over his shoulder with things that they might need, mostly towels and sunscreen and plastic bags for their belongings.
