A elevator ride should go smoothly and not suddenly stop between floors like this. As panic filled Aaron's chest he hamered on the buttons to try to make the elevator move again. As nothing happened he had to take a few deep breath to calm himself down. He then glanced over to the other guy. "Brilliant, the elevator is stuck," he commented with sarcasm in his voice.
[It seems that Samus' visit to the Citadel which was made possible only by science fiction video game crossover meme magic was going to be extended a bit thanks to faulty elevators. She 'hmphs,' quietly displeased.
She wonders if the stranger she's sharing the elevator with knows anything about elevator maintenance.]
This is the third time this has happened. You'd think collaboration of the galaxy's best and brightest could manage to make functional elevators.

[ i'm not even sure if young gilbert even knows what an elevator is. but luckily for him at least he's stuck with someone that vaguely reminds him of his brother.
so rather than completely shrinking into the corner, he throws glances here and there at vincent]
[The tall guy with the ratty hoodie could do with a bath or a life or both. A pulse would totally help. Sucks for Dean, but the smell of rotting zombie is starting to fill the elevator and that's when the elevator's lights flicker and they stop moving]
[It's been a long, grueling case; a missing petty officer, too many questions, not enough answers. Not enough sleep, and Gibbs hasn't let anyone forget what that second B stands for. But it's effective, they pull it out the way they always do - petty officer found, perpetrator caught, another case put to bed.
The bullpen's dark by the time she dots the last I and crosses the last T - she and Tony are the last ones left. They print out their reports, sign them, and drop the folders on Gibbs' vacated desk before shouldering their bags and heading to the elevator.]
What a day, I could sleep for a week. [Kate stifles a yawn as the car lurches, moves a couple of floors, then promptly screeches to an abrupt halt.] Oh no. No no no-- [Siiiiigh.] Gibbs is gonna kill us.

[ the lights dim, buzzing, as the elevator shudders to a halt. he jabs at a couple buttons, then glances back, with a wrist's flick to the panel. like a magician's presentation: behold, I have nothing in my left hand, nothing in my right, and presto! ... nothing's happening! ]
Sorry, Josh. Hope you weren't in a hurry to get somewhere.
[ this line delivered with his brows cocked, smoked glasses sliding a little, as if it's only a question and not a hook. ]
