I imagine it makes you a target more often than not.

We keep away from mortals because of such threats.

Does it make you dislike mortals?

[silverhorn]

It would be like disliking wolves for howling at the moon or for flowers blooming in the spring. It is simply part of their nature.

That's an interesting perspective. It's also a very patient one.

[ Yennefer would know, considering how little patience she has for mortals herself. But she finds it refreshing, hearing the other woman's outlook. ]

Eons teaches one patience though in this form I have found it in short supply.

I'm nearing a century and I have yet to master it.

It is a lovely form, though. Did you choose it?

I did not. A magician turned me into this and cannot turn me back.

And do you wish to be turned back to your former form?

Yes, but I need to find the others of my kind first.
