We have ways of making you talk.
The Interrogation Meme

Your crimes were unspeakable, your lies were innumerable, but finally you've been caught. They bring you in, sit you down, and chain you up. No matter what power you have, no matter how strong you are, you're not going anywhere, so get comfy.
It's going to be a long night.
Rules
- Post with your character, canon, and any prefs. Note whether captor or captive.
- Tag around to other characters.
- Roll for an option.
RNG OPTIONS
- Truth serum: You know this person isn't going to confess easily, but you've got a surprise for them. This serum ought to loosen their lips a little.
- Torture: The old-fashioned way might work best for this particular subject. How about those thumbscrews?
- Bargain: You've got something they really want, or really need. If they fess up, if they tell the truth of the matter, they'll get it.
- Blackmail: So, remember that night about ten years ago...? You know something they don't want the rest of the world to know and you're going to use it.
- Seduction: Just because they're tied to a chair doesn't mean you two can't have a little fun, right?

"Sit." He comanded his brother once he finaly saw fit to adress him. "We have much to speak about before this evening is over and I will not do so while you are pacing like a wild animal in a cage."

Without an effort to mend his tempo, it well seemed, Tyelko's steps echoed on the stone. Closing fast the distance between them, then he turned again just before meeting his brother; his face or his ask. ❛ I will not say a word to you– ❜ Safe to rescind any compliance, evidently. ❛ –whilst you would keep your own as prisoners! ❜

Anger will get him nowhere here, likely anger is exactly what Tyelko want's from him in a way. A crack in the icy facade that gives away a weakness to exploit, to push him into enough of a rage to simply send him and Curvo away to be somebody elses headache. If that is what he's after he'll not find it here. "Then I'll suppose you'll stay in this room for a very long time, brother," he simply points out while his face remains as cold and stony as the lands he's made his home. "Hmm. And how should I keep you then, do you think? Did you think the tales of your exploits would not reach my ears? Or did you simply think I wouldn't care? You have put me in a rather precarious situation, Tyelko, and I do hope you did not do so knowingly or maliciously." And with that he fixes his brother with a stern look. "But you have as of yet not given me a reason to think otherwise. So... do explain yourself, dear brother, I am curious about what it was you hoped to accomplish."

Well? You going to get on with this, or you gonna just stand there and stare at me all day?
[It's his immobilized bionic arm the G-man's staring at, Kane thinks. Wouldn't surprise him. He did transform it earlier, used the oversized blade configuration like an idiot guessing it would scare Mr. G off and get the guy out of his hair.
Didn't quite work out that way.]

[It's another long, relentless work day for Leon. He makes a mental note, again, that he's not going to get a vacation any time soon. Also the world seems like it wants to end every other day, but he really just wanted that little time off. Which might be prompting Leon to be a bit more dry than usual, but when you've had as many long days as he has, dealing with guys like this feels almost harder than fighting off B.O.W.s.
He's definitely not going to say that one, but he does give Kane an audible sigh and nod as he pulls over a chair and straddles it to look him over.]
So, let me guess: You were visiting your sick grandma and got lost. You know that town's locked down, so what the hell were you doing there?
[Nothing good. That's what he thinks, anyway. It hits a little too close to home, but Leon can't help but think this has to be one of the pharmaceutical company's spies or, more likely, a mercenary sent to fish out data and samples for the next big problem. He'd like to believe there was good will that led the man into a bio-engineered hellscape, but that would be too optimistic. He already looks halfway to being an experiment himself. Leon looks fixedly at the man's eyes, because if he doesn't, he's going to be too obvious.]
Wanna start easy? What's your name?

[Popping off with the sarcastic retort is probably the wrong move, but Kane's never been good at playing the silent game. He might just have to learn quick, though, because this guy's clearly not the average G-man and if the Yanks were smart enough to send someone like this in, they may know a whole lot more about the situation than he was led to believe. Then again, if they knew that much, they'd just send the army in.
Rolling his eyes at Leon's put-upon sigh, he leans forward and puts on his best insolent grin. His nose is still bleeding but not as heavily, half-dried blood smeared under his nostrils and around his mouth. That really was one hell of a kick. He's had his nose broken before and he remembers the feeling. No partner to pop it back into place this time, either.
He looks like shit, and he knows it. But he's had worse, probably.]
Close. My sister's anaphylactic, and I was on my way to drop off her EpiPen. You know how bad the bees get this time of year.
[There's no point in trying for a believable alibi, not when this man's seen what he can do. He's no B.O.W., but Kane is all too aware of how close he comes to one. No smooth story in the world is going to turn this into the G-man letting him off with a warning and a stern shake of the finger. At least he doesn't have to worry about the guy unearthing his identity through any records -- those are all sealed under the highest clearance levels. Unless this agent has access that high, he'll never find them. The thought ought to reassure him, but Kane feels the man's eyes boring into him like two laser beams, and he has to will himself to meet them without blinking.]
John E. Canuck. Worst name ever, right? I got stuck with it when my folks lost a bet.
no subject
Too bad he actually does need answers.]
Right, and you left your passport in your other bag. You made a mess. Lot of people that didn't need to get hurt.
[He's more upset about that then he wants to admit, but Leon can't stand having more of his teammates, his people, get hurt in these battles over secrets and power. He knows he only saw part of what this man is capable of, but even that just proves the point to him. That artificial arm acts a little too close to the G-virus, and he gives the thief a darker look as his eyes drift to it.]
Well, you're a long way from home, John. You pay customs for that?
[He nods his head to the bionic weapon. It's a weapon, and he is really sick of those too. Is he taking this job personally? Yeah. Any other mission in any other place would have been bad, but this particular call was enough to bring Leon home. And he's not happy about it.]
Who hired you? I can tell you right now, you've got nothing to find in Raccoon City. It doesn't have any secrets left for you or anyone else to take.
no subject
Spare me the guilt trip. This hellhole's been under quarantine for fifteen years. They knew the risks.
[Okay, so maybe they weren't expects those risks to include him, but Kane still can't find it in him to dredge up much sympathy for the outpost's staff. He gave them plenty of chances to run, is he supposed to feel bad because some of them were too dumb to listen? Following the agent's gaze, he shrugs the shoulder his bionic arm is attached to and offers up a thin smile.]
Something like that. Why, you like it? Thinking of buying it at the next seized property auction?
[He's not sure exactly what this man's damage is with his arm. Under better circumstances, he wouldn't particularly care either, but from where he's currently sitting it really could turn into a problem. He'll have to head that off at the pass, Kane decides, because the alternative's one he can't afford.]
Really. Then why are you here? Long way to come for a place that's got nothing anybody would want.
no subject
Thinking of finding the seller along with whoever hired you.
[Another facility running experiments that only lead to death. He hasn't seen other mercenaries quite like this one, but where there is one, there's going to be others. Would that replace the experiments with the viruses? No, he doubts that. They would probably only make everything worse. Thinking about it only makes him more frustrated. He stands, pushing the chair aside to get closer to Kane, irritation building as he really takes him in.]
Do you know the risks? You don't know what hell you were sent to, do you? What did they tell you to find? If you dig around in there, all you'll do is end up a monster like everyone else. You're better off here.
no subject
He snorts dismissively at Leon's mild confidence and tries to ignore the pang of indignance at once again being treated like a dumb rookie. Sitting up as straight as he can, broad-shouldered and muscular, Kane tries his best to convey the image of a hard professional. He's seen a lot, and done a lot, but he's younger than he likes to admit, and try as he might to hide it, a hint of wariness flickers in his eyes when the agent stands and comes closer, pushing the chair aside so there's nothing between them.]
What, cooling my heels for the next twenty years? Thanks but no thanks. I know what's down there. BOWs and worse. But there's something else down there too. Something you don't know about.
