Any form of community service won't be anything more than punishment if you're unwilling to consider the possibility your actions were wrong. And you don't seem open to that.

One problem isn't going anywhere.

Do you want to hear that if I had to choose between my students' lives and yours, I'd pick them? I would, without question. I'd choose them over myself.

That doesn't make either of our lives worthless. I'd prefer a course of action where no one has to die. The point is, did you really try and find a way to avoid killing?

I have things I'd choose over you too. Would you rather I have found a prison to throw all of my enemies into? Somehow I get the feeling that wouldn't have changed anything.
