[Let's break in an OC! I'm going to generate a few options, you let me know what you're feeling. :)

1. Angel is hired to spy on Shan. (Likely leads to talk when Angel realizes magic is going on)
2. Shan and Angel go ice skating. Angel is not very good and Shan has to help them.
3. Shan and Angel go to a bar. Shan gets too drunk and Angel has to take them home.
4. Angel helping Shan with chores.]

( Well, hello! The third option sounds very much like something that'd happen to Shan. I'm good with that one unless you have a stronger preference? )

[It's a Friday evening--not that weekdays matter much to Angel, given the lack of a job or a set schedule. But the bar is crowded and noisy and he's certain he wasn't made for situations like this (if he was made intentionally at all). He's sort of off in a corner, nursing a hard cider and watching the room with the same scrutiny a group of scientists might give a herd of gazelle in the wild. Look. Look, the point of all this for him is learning about people. He's not even sure he can get drunk, given the lack of bodily functions.

But hey, he can still be useful here; he's broken up a drunken argument before it turned into a drunken brawl, and politely told a guy to get his hand off a woman's ass when she clearly wasn't into it. So at least this hasn't been entirely a wasted night.]

If so some prompts I got were:

1 Ysayle giving Y'shtola a piggy back ride.
2. Ysayle is Y'shtola's hired body guard.
3. Y'shtola and Ysayle taking care of a bunch of orphan puppies and/or kittens.
4. Ysayle is under a terrible curse. Y'shtola knows how to cure it.

But I'm open other things!))

[It's been nearly two years since she had been brought to the First. Thancred, Urianger and Y'shtola had been here for longer yet and the Exarch seemed to still be struggling with bringing his true target to this star---the Warrior of Light.

It's a lot to take in and Ysayle couldn't claim to have been particularly pleased about being forcibly dragged here especially with everything that had been going on back home, but having heard of Urianger's vision she knew they would do more good here than on the Source.

Not that any of them had much of a choice when it came to whether they remained or went back home. She had settled into Slitherbough with Y'shotla or "Matoya" as she was called here (she had taken up the name Khione) and now she was accompanying the mage as she inspected some of the nearby Ronkan ruins. Most of it was submerged and so she herself could not observe them but there was much that Y'shtola could observe with her unique vision, that she could not.]

Is there something about these ruins to calls out to you?

( ysayle’s company is not one she was expecting to gain in their humble little settlement, but it is a welcome one nonetheless. there is no shortage for things to do around slitherbough, and having the accompaniment means that she can venture into deeper spaces without as much worry compared to if she’d been alone.

could she simply have asked one of the hunters to come with her? certainly. but their host has been generous enough in letting them both stay, further taxing their dwindling resources is the last thing she’d like to do. )

In truth, all of it does.

( ever the seeker of knowledge, it is one of the reasons why she chose to linger here instead of all other places. )

I could likely spend the remainder of my mortal years here and still not uncover all of what’s carved and buried with the stone.

Some I rolled but bring your own if you like!

1) [Character X] comforting a sad Asura.
2) Asura confessed their love to [Character X], but was rejected.
3) Asura taking care of an injured [Character X].
4) Asura drawing [Character X].
5) Asura playing pranks on [Character X].

Are you trying to make it worse?

[ Yennefer scowls at Asura, lips tensed into a thin line as she watches him set to work mending the injury across her forearm. Normally, she doesn't need help with things like this. A simple spell or a potion is enough to set most things back to normal and overall she is quite durable; but when it comes to magically inflicted injuries, the healing process is a little more complex. And who better to handle that than her beloved Asura, who she is currently attempting to micro manage.

She's really just very bad at letting other people see her weak, in any state; but she trusts him, and so after a moment she sighs and relents a bit. ]

Sorry. [ A word rarely used in her vocabulary. ] You know I appreciate your help. [ Her tone is more affectionate now, and some of the tension slips from her posture. ]

[ Asura tenses when Yennefer scolds him, pausing his ministrations. He hates this. He hates how much it upsets him that someone else has been hurt. More than that, he hates that she's been hurt. He's scared, yes, but he can't afford to have a panic attack- someone needs him, and Kishin help him, he wants to be there for her. ]

...I do. [ His dual eyes lift to look at her face for a moment, before moving back down to the wound. Normally he keeps at least one set of eyes on her. Usually the third, because he knows it's her favourite. But now he's ashamed that he's failed to keep Yennefer safe and can't stomach it for more than a few seconds.

So he keeps himself busy, one hand delicately grasping her wrist and the other her elbow, while a scarf hand carefully cleans the injury. Trying to keep her occasional winces from pulling away from the stinging salve. ] ...It's not enough.

[ Fixing it after the fact isn't good enough. He should have been there to protect her. ]

[ The gentleness with which he tends to her soothes some of the stinging left behind by the salve. She's endured worse pain, and mostly she's frustrated with herself for allowing someone else to outmaneuver her enough to cause injury. Yennefer doesn't miss the way his dual eyes don't linger on hers for very long - making her wonder at the reason for his hesitation. ]

What do you mean? There's plenty of salve left in the jar.

[ It completely goes over her head that he might have been referring to anything else. In addition to hating anyone having to see her in a weakened state, Yennefer is also not accustomed to relying on others to protect her. It's not that she doesn't need it, powerful as she is; she's not invulnerable - and frankly it would do her good to actually ask for help sometimes. It's just that it rarely occurs to her to do so.

And, the concept of anyone feeling protective over her is entirely foreign. She's beginning to piece that together as her gaze assesses him - his third eye, his dual pair; and the way he touches her so carefully and gently. ]

[ Asura spends a moment without speaking, tending to Yennefer's injury in solemn silence. Until he feels the urge to squeeze his hands into fists. There's a hint of it, pressure that threatens to bring her more pain- before he stops himself. ]

I wasn't enough. [ The pressure falls away, Asura's fingers going limp and quivering. ] I let you get hurt... I let your perfect body get injured and your perfect mind feel pain.

[ His scarves twitch irritably, and finally, he raises his eyes to look at her. Unfamiliar misery in them, biting his lower lip in an attempt to stop it from trembling. ]

It's never going to happen again.

[ She's never seen him quite like this. And she's seen him in a variety of states; though the misery in his gaze is so foreign and so sincere she can't help but feel an echoing pang in her own heart. She lets out a slow sigh, shoulders slumping forward a bit.

There's a silence that passes as she registers and fully absorbs the words he's spoken. Words she's unaccustomed to hearing, yet cause the tension in her body to begin to unfurl. His unabashed care for her well being further softens the ice typically hardened around her heart. ]

How do you intend to prevent every harm from ever touching me?

[ It's more a rhetorical question, though she thinks he may already have a few ideas in mind regardless. Her voice takes on a rare gentleness, a softness in her normally sharp violet eyes as she focuses on his third eye for a moment before her gaze drops, reaching out to take one of his hands; seeking the comfort of his touch. ]

I’ll kill the ones who did this. And I’ll kill anyone who can do this. I’ll kill the world until it’s just us.

[ With her gaze lowered, the sudden and silent transformation Asura’s face undergoes as he talks is easy to miss. All three of his eyes now as large as his third, his lips melting together and coming apart with each word, hints of jagged needle teeth behind him.

His hand still tenderly holds Yennefer’s, even as incredibly intense rage and dread flows through him. Though the tattoos on the back of his hand blink closed, and when they open they too are real eyes. His body reflecting his surging madness. ]
