[Have your near-double gaping at you in an identical manner. Near-double, if only because this kid seems a couple of inches taller. The black coat also helps keep things different, and the clothes on under that coat are nothing short of bizarre in a place like Twilight Town. Were his sneakers armored?] What...?

[What in the world. He blinks, and then rubs his eyes. Nope. Still there.] ... I'm dreaming this, right?

[He hopes he is. Otherwise, what in the two realms is going on here?! o_o]

[ What in the-- whatever is right, this is just weird. And creepy. Especially when the boy on the ground starts talking because he sounds exactly like him. Granted, he does look a little older, but that doesn't quite register nor does the familiarity of the coat he wears.

The thing is this boy looks like him, sounds like him. Hell, even his speaking mannerisms are frighteningly the same. It's enough to get Roxas scuttling back onto his feet none too gracefully. It's at this point that it would be nice if that key thing would decide to come around just about now, but for now, he'll have to suffice with taking a defensive stance, brows furrowed in a stern glare despite the panic underneath. ] Who are you?

[It's like looking in a really weird mirror. Ven quickly scrambles to his feet and takes his own defensive stance, refraining from calling his Keyblade.

At least the confused look on his face is different from the glare he's getting from his near-mirror clone.] I'm Rox--

[Cutting himself off. Right now. Because damn it, he needs to get used to his original name again, and if the glare he's getting is any indication, using the name 'Roxas' around here will only wind up with one of them in a world of hurt.

Just ... ignore the hesitation that comes with saying this name. And the uncertainty.] ... Ventus. My name's Ventus.

[And he is just as confused about what the hell is going on as you.]

[ Weird mirror is an understatement. This is like a crazy fun house nightmare thing where is distorts your image to apparently wear shady coats, but that's the thing. Or really should be the thing.

Because he looked just as confused as Roxas, himself, feels.

That doesn't deter his focus though. His eyes are peeled and ears, trained. The verbal stumble makes him twitch, but while his mouth opens, nothing comes from him until "Ventus" finishes. But when it does, there's definitely some bite to it. ]

Ventus, huh. So, why is it you look like me?

[Another look of uncertainty, and clear hesitation. Roxas, why are you asking all of the hard questions?

It takes him a few seconds of thought (and letting his vision clear up and the streets stop spinning) before he speaks up again.] I, uh... I don't know.

[At least there's a ring of honesty with that response.]

[ Because he is clearly all too good at taking the bull right by the horns. ~~You should know this.~~

Still... just as he feels like he's about to get somewhere with this. Like maybe this guy is playing him and whatever, he just-- gives a very. Confusing answer. It's not even the words themselves. It's the tone. Because he knows that tone. That's his tone. And it just... As scary as it is to hear it from someone else, it's also...

He... doesn't necessarily drop his front, but he does at least cede a bit. There's a little less tension as he lowers a clenched fist while raising the other to nearly touch his lips. ]

First that photo thief.... Then that weird girl... and now this?

[ There's something of a frustrated sound that leaves him before he shakes his head. ]

[Oh, yeah, awesome at that. ~~And then getting tossed on your ass by Terra was always fun.~~

If he wasn't on guard before, the contents of his double's mumbling is putting him on edge. It sounds... really familiar.] It can't be...

[He won't ask how. Or why. He needs to figure out if this is real first. So, he'll be asking.] ... Did the 'photo thief' manage to somehow steal the word photo, too?

[Please. Don't. Say. Yes. Because if you do, he's going to find DiZ or Riku (more likely DiZ) and give him a piece of his mind. >:| ... and then hope that Axel hasn't made an appearance yet.]
