Uh... [ Yeah, he's not buying that either, was it? Roxas was a smart kid- but Sora could be smarter! ] ... Y'know, the kind where you hide from the person chasing you. It's like hide-and-go-seek, but really don't want the person looking for you to ever find you. Eheh...

And yes, that's definitely his arms remaining crossed at that explanation. You said something about being smarter, Sora? You thought wrong, sir. ] What did you do now? [ There's a mix of annoyance and just 'Yep, here we go again' mixed in his tone. He at least uncrosses his arms after a bit longer, but it's only so he can keep his ice cream from melting all over his hand. Yep, he's licking it. Whatever. ]

--Thanks. I've just lost track of him and need to give him some help with some homework. I'll only be a minute.
[A little white lie, but its enough to get him in and searching around for Sora. Now to just get up the stairs...]

Well first I put orange juice in his cereal this morning, and then- [ And erupt pause when Sora caught wind of a conversation outside of the door. Wait, that voice didn't sound like it originally belonged in the house. Could it be...- ] Riku!!
[ With a yelp the boy retrieves the covers once again and throws them over his head. Beckoning through the sheets for Roxas to lock the door. ]
How did he know I was here!? Roxas, you can't let him in!
OH REALLY /GNAWS ON YOU BOTH
He watches as his other self dives back under those covers and just... rolls his eyes. Seriously? You really think Riku's that stupid? Come on. For one, that's definitely him down there and it wasn't even like... five minutes ago since you got here, bro.
That still kinda!jerk used to track him down in his Organization days. You think it'll be hard for him to find you, especially when you're in such an obvious spot?Roxas just stands there, looking from his door to the covers and back. After taking another bite out of his ice cream and chewing thoughtfully, he smirks slightly. ] Two boxes. And you can't nick even one of them.
/SWATS AWAY
He's made his way to the second floor now, glancing around the area as if he's trying to pick a target. Sora's somewhere here, he knows it, and drops his voice in volume as he starts looking around.]
Come on, I know you're here. I just want to pay you back for this morning.

But the more he listens, the more he can hear the footstep getting closer and closer. Gosh, was this what it was like to apart of those scary movies? Only, in this instance, Riku was far more scarier than anything he had seen in those movies put together.
His only escape was to burrow deeper into the blankets, now strategically placing one of the pillows over the lump that was his head. ]
Sshhhh-! He might hear you! [ Voice muffled to a whisper, Sora could only hope his clever hiding spot would turn Riku away at the door.
But really, who could possibly see through something like this? ]

Roxas will at least agree that Riku was kinda freaky. You know, at least during that part where he cheated and Ansem'd.

Riku's footsteps clearly stop when he catches Roxas' voice, but he doesn't stop for long and starts walking closer again.] Roxas, hey. Haven't seen Sora around here, have you?
