[Maybe he'd be more apprehensive about asking Yi Sang's opinions on...Fucking Anything, Really, if it wasn't already established that Gregor also cannot be trusted. Just that he cares more about what other people think of his palate, really.] I can't figure out the taste combo in my head, so I thought I'd just out and ask.

[ There's a patented Yi Sang Silence^TM as he gathers his thoughts on how to extol the virtues of mint coffee before he begins to shill: ]

If the point of drinking coffee is to wake one's self when fatigue drags physical acuities downward, then the addition of mint to the flavor profile is quite worthwhile. Caffeine takes around ten minutes to affect the body, but doesn't reach its peak until an hour or so in. But what is one to do while waiting for the caffeine to enter the bloodstream? Would you not simply be idling, still fatigued? ... This is the question that the mint solves, providing a refreshing cold tingle against the tongue to stimulate the senses in the short-term, before fading into the taste of coffee.

[ It's far from the weirdest thing Yi Sang eats and it's probably... not that bad? Maybe even good, if strange? But by the same logic, Yi Sang would also have accepted horseradish coffee and been equally happy. Maybe happier, even!
