I should have brought you flowers
a meme of flowers

For ages, flowers have been inextricably tied with love and romance. Some cultures set aside time to appreciate the transient beauty of springtime blossoms with family, friends, and loved ones. Others have canonized a tradition of gifting flowers to express feelings of love, sympathy, and gratitude, among other messages. And of course, flowers are just plain nice to look at. Whatever way you shake it, a lovely bloom is best admired with another person.
1. hanami
A tradition of viewing cherry blossoms in bloom. Enjoy a boozy picnic or just a walk under the falling blossoms. At night, lanterns cast a lovely glow on pink trees.
2. garden
Gardens are a wonderful way to appreciate exotic blooms. Tend one yourself and show off your flowery knowledge, or take a sweetheart to a beautiful botanical garden.
3. wildflowers
A hike or outdoor experience is always enhanced by the sight of hardy wildflowers in bloom. Take a break to lay among them and watch the skies!
4. flower field
Rolling hillsides completely covered in rows of colorful flowers is quite an experience, perhaps even a tourist destination. Why not share it?
5. bouquet
A classic way to express your feelings! In fact, an entire language has developed around the exchange of flowers - but you can't go wrong with a bouquet in a favorite color.
6. sex pollen
Accidental, on purpose, or accidentally on purpose? Well, regardless... your flower viewing is about to turn spicy!
7. hanahaki
A trope wherein feelings of unrequited love cause the lungs to fill with flower petals, slowly suffocating the sufferer. Left untreated, the disease is fatal.
8. legendary flower
You're on a quest to obtain the mythical Flower of... Love, Youth, Immortality, Healing... take your pick!
9. allergies
Aw, geez. You just wanted a good time, but now you're having a bad time! Or perhaps your heartfelt gift has taken an inconvenient turn?
10. wildcard
Anything goes!

ROSE BROS? ROSE BROS.
Hi Nix :V I figure we do pre-timeskip so they’re a little closer in age. (Rei would be 17-18 post-canon?) Idk if we want to do, like, some sort of generic school AU or just jamjar it or what but I didn’t realize how much I desperately needed this interaction in my life until now. WHAT ARE YOU FEELING?]

o7 btw going to use he/him from Lorenz's perspective because that is what he assumes
o7! Honestly I considered using he/him in mine too. That’s how I used to do it way back when.

Good lord, I can't believe how late this is?? orz forgive me
lorenz has seen weirder than a literal giant in a garden, he'll be fine (garden)
[Perturabo was not particularly fond of gardens for their own sake, but he understood the appeal and purpose of them. To his tastes, they weren't practical enough. The one he was in, obviously biased towards roses of all kinds, was lacking in dedicated places to sit, seek shade on a sweltering day, and had some suboptimal foot-paths for both traversal and actually being as close to the flowers as possible while still ensuring ideal growth.
It all could benefit from a few well placed gazeebos, which would serve as a much better support for the crawling roses than the somewhat flimsy lattices they were currently using.]
Hm.
[Don't mind the fifteen foot tall toga-like clad colossus with metal poking out of his head in your garden. Nothing to be alarmed about.]
HAS HE??? (maybe)
giant worms, dragons, his professor, the pope, mirrors,
