You’ve got your TFLN, you’ve got your sexting, now here’s the meme for all those gen texts, phone calls, voicemails, pictures of your cats, and whatever else your little heart can come up with, because who doesn't like a little old fashioned friendly texting. (Or enemy texting, if that's more your bag.)

instructions: What it says on the tin! Leave a comment with your character, include preferences, a start, absolutely nothing or whatever you want. Run around and reply to others. Lather, rinse, repeat.

When you've spent as much time in the healing halls getting fussed over as I have then yes, yes it is.

Perhaps I should put it in perspective.

Is it not worth the fuss than to know of a time when it was not?

I don't like being fussed over... it puts me in a bad mood.

Perhaps I could have been a bit more understanding with Maglor but it gets very frustrating when he acts like I'm about to keel over anytime I have so much as a scratch on me.

And how well did you communicate that, exactly?

...Not well? What can I say, I freely admit I am an old, emotionally constipated curmudgeon of an elf communication hasn't been my forte in quite some time.

I'm not sure how admitting that is any help or benefit to your communication skills.

There's not much that can be done to rectify it but I am, at least, aware that it is a problem.

That is your decision. It has little to do with anything else.

I honestly don't know what to do about it... any suggestions would be welcome, since I do not believe myself all knowing. It might just be that I am too close to the problem to truly see a solution to it.

You may have a point there.

The best way I can see it is a compromise.

What kind of compromise? I won't go to the healers unless it is actually needed, but... if there is an alternative that will still give Maglor some peace of mind I would be open to hear it at least.

Perhaps you should at least go to be checked instead of avoiding it and giving Maglor a cause or a fear.

[But he hates visiting the healers. He wouldn't even go when he needed to if it was entirely up to him.]

...But I don't want to go to the healers. Even when they agree with me they spend so much time poking and prodding at me before they let me leave. But I don't like worrying him either... perhaps if the healers agreed not to be so thourough in their examination if there isn't anything apparently wrong with me I could agree.

There must be a compromise. You must at least let them examine you a little if you wish to cut them to the quick.

Fine. But I will not be held responsible for the foul mood it will put me in. All that poking and prodding always puts me on edge for hours afterwards.

We all must endure for what we love.

I suppose so. I guess I shouldn't complain too much, at least I'm not the one that has to put up with my annoying tendencies.

I hope you do not expect me to cover for you.

Ofcourse not. It would be rather rude of me to put you in such a position. Not to mention that I don't think you'd agree to it to begin with.
