YOU MAY KNOW EACH OTHER ALREADY - OR YOU MAY NOT. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, YOU'RE NOW PASSING THE TIME ASKING EACH OTHER QUESTIONS. IT'S A GAME! A QUESTION FOR A QUESTION. YOU START OFF ASKING YOUR OPPONENT A QUESTION OF CHOICE AND IF THEY ANSWER IT, THEY'RE ALLOWED TO ASK YOU A QUESTION IN TURN. THE RULES ARE SIMPLE, ONLY AS LONG AS YOU ANSWER THE OTHER PERSON'S QUESTIONS ARE YOU ALLOWED TO ASK QUESTIONS YOURSELF, BUT THERE IS NO EXPECTATION OF TRUTHFULNESS HERE, LIE IF YOU MUST OR WANT, JUST KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING.
How to play -
1. Comment with your character's name, fandom and preference.
2. If you want, leave a question in the comment field that your character is asking their opponent. Or don't. I'm not the cops.
3. Pick other characters to question and have fun!

It's empty, though. Opens up some black hole inside you; maybe it's only a matter of time before you get eaten up from the inside out.
—But of course, he's not one to talk too much about shit like that, already a little uncomfortable by what he's said already. He shifts, frowning. )
Used to. Not so much anymore. 'Course, where I'm from, people lose touch a lot. It happens.
World ended twenty years ago. Can't exactly call folks up on a cell phone and say hey, anymore.

Why shouldn't he and Joel come from two separate worlds?] But that sounds horrible. I know getting a signal on your phone probably doesn't rank high on the list of priorities during an apocalypse but, honestly, I wouldn't cope. [How would he talk to his mum?]
[But then he turns his earnest attention of Joel.] How do you cope? I mean -- Sorry, maybe it's none of my business, but are you okay?
[He can't be, right? He's probably seen and done things that're completely fucked up but Steven can't help but be concerned.]

The question catches him off-guard a little, again; he's falling to silence, just watching the other man. It's not the kind of question he's often asked, and one he'd usually shirk from, and one he has no idea how to respond to at all. He's giving a gruff laugh, the only thing he knows to do. )
Lots of alcohol. When you can find it. Hard to get anything worth a damn, anymore.
( He's aware he hasn't answered the "are you okay" part of that yet, but he's asking the other man questions instead, now. Deflecting for sure, but he's also genuinely curious— )
Guessing your world's not like that. You from Earth? ( Look, you never know.... )
