YOU START OFF ASKING YOUR OPPONENT A QUESTION OF CHOICE AND IF THEY ANSWER IT, THEY'RE ALLOWED TO ASK YOU A QUESTION IN TURN. THE RULES ARE SIMPLE, ONLY AS LONG AS YOU ANSWER THE OTHER PERSON'S QUESTIONS ARE YOU ALLOWED TO ASK QUESTIONS YOURSELF, BUT THERE IS NO EXPECTATION OF TRUTHFULNESS HERE, LIE IF YOU MUST OR WANT, JUST KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING.

D-Drama q...? [ "what in the--" leave it to akira to take him aback. ] Well, I -- I suppose...I am. Yes. [ he laughs, just a bit. ] Maybe so. [ the feeling is liberating; perhaps this is what they called humanity. ]

I... [ he raises a hand, eyes bright with an atypical earnestness more reminiscent of who he once was. an alien feeling, really, invading him, but comforting all the same. ] I believe you are capable of fulfilling your heart's desires. 'Tis why I ask -- curiosity and...faith. [ a beat. ] Rest...a good nap, however, is most necessary for a clear mind. [ another small laugh.

Were I gone, another foe would take my place -- hatred is in every seed. When faced with adversity, your heart prevails. It is who you are. I see that now.

[ "thank you -- for allowing me to understand that it is possible. for...sparing my life. you lashed out -- and yet you turned your face away from me. you did not relish in my pain, did not look upon me as a leper. i know not the reason why, but i trust in it."

[A clear mind, huh? Sleeping and eating was usually the ticket to restoring his powers whenever he was feeling low on energy. Plus he liked the quiet moments more than people gave him credit for. The sounds of the winds brushing against the trees, the water ripping against the lake, the giggling of children playing in the park... That just told him that the world was finally peaceful again.

Maybe all the knight needed was for someone to treat him like a person than a hero or villain. The Medieval ages sounded really rigid with that in mind... But it looks like labels wouldn't change no matter what times were.]

If some other Demon Lord shows up, I'll kick their ass with guts! And I'm not the only one who'd do it... Everyone else showed their fighting spirit and you did too. After all, we all owe you one for saving our lives when it got really shitty for us.

[There's genuine eagerness in his voice as Akira feels a little less awkward. His smile was a bit sheepish, but it's a warm one. Picking up his thoughts again, he reaches out to put a supportive hand on his shoulder. Akira's grip is firm, but his touch is gentle. Kicking a guy when he was down after a fight and delivering the death blow wasn't cool in his book at all. That wasn't Akira's style of doing things.]
