(( i lied. some sort of hideous and unfortunate twist on 7-9-15. i'm good for h/c or mindfuck or violence, whatever. ))
[ it takes a lot of paperwork to get loki under her control. the asgardians rightly claim him for their prisoner, and while shield are interested in the properties of the aliens, they're wary after the incident in the helicarrier. but fury knows that she knows how to break someone down, brainwash them, keep them under your control. maybe it's a dark place she's going to (cycle of abuse and all that) but her ledger still feels unbalanced. this alien took clint apart, and now? it's his turn. ]
[ she starts sweet. arranges for the high security suite to be decked out with a massage table, a spa bath, a dining table, a wardrobe full of elegant suits and alien robes. she has a disadvantage in that he already knows what she is, a flame-haired creature of duplicity and wiles, but she still thinks with enough worship he might soften into something she can manipulate. and surely the expensive succulence of the evening she's prepared is going to be evocatively stockholm when compared to the conditions of his previous cell. ]
[ and then the raven-haired beauty they drag into the room is unexpectedly female, and natasha goes frozen for a moment. she stands there on the plush carpet in her carefully chosen cocktail dress, and stares. men, she can wrap around her finger. men she can break guiltlessly. other women, though... ]
[ nobody had told her this had happened. however it had happened. she'd be angry later, snapping into a phone. right now, though, she finally remembers to smile graciously and walk over to greet the wreckage that has been turned over into her care. ]

[ Obviously when major changes are made in the plans for his handling, Loki isn't given much information. He is told what to do and he is transported in high security carriers and they take every precaution at their disposal, but in the end they're only human. They may have him in chains, but he still sees them like mice scurrying around at his feet, and there's no telling when he's going to step on them.
It's the moment he learns that he's being passed into the Black Widow's care that he begins to lay his plans. Fool him once, shame on you. She will not fool him twice.
He knows her tactics; he knows how she uses her feminine wiles to mess with the heads of lesser men. Of course, Loki's no ordinary man even when he's a man. But if he presented himself to her as a woman, well, wouldn't that be fun?
The frozen look on her face when Loki is brought into the room is all the confirmation he needs.
The accommodations are a surprise; a bit of a curveball. It shows on his face, briefly, as he moves inside and looks around. He hadn't known where they were taking him, exactly, but he hadn't expected this. His mind races with a dozen things at once, trying to figure out her strategy, her angle—undoubtedly she's toying with him. If he knew about the "good cop, bad cop" routine, he'd probably be thinking in those terms.
When his eyes finally settle on Natasha, Loki just smiles, and it's the exact same smile as before—sly and self-assured, and just a little unhinged—only framed in slightly softer features. He (she???) isn't dressed as elegantly as Natasha, since cocktail dresses aren't among the amenities provided to prisoners, apparently. Even when they're being led to a suite as lavish as this one, and now Loki looks unfortunately out of place in her prisoner's garb— a crude green tunic and leggings. Ill-fitting though they may be, they don't hide her new form.
She makes a noncommittal noise behind her bowed lips. ] A consequence, I'm afraid, of being locked away with limited access to the things necessary for maintaining one's appearance. The constant cold baths have all but ruined my hair. [ She feigns a look of distress or disappointment, as she runs her fingers (smaller, now, the fine, slender hands of a woman) through her hair, which is longer and thicker, albeit a bit bedraggled from lack of care, and the same ink-black as before.
Then, she looks at Natasha and her expression is pointed and cunning. ]
Or...meant you something else? [ She steps closer, lowering her hand again. A slight tilt of her head, and a quieter tone of voice. ] Do you find this form displeasing?
