This meme deals with three types of love, angsty, sweet, and twisted! Please note that there are triggers abound!

I. BAD ROMANCE
01. IT'S TOO LATE TO APOLOGIZE. You had a fight and now your lover isn't sure they want to even hear your apologies.
02. HURT/COMFORT You or your lover is in pain, physically or mentally, and needs to be comforted.
03. SECOND BEST. No matter what your lover says, you feel like they're only settling for you like a second choice.
04. CHEATED. You've seen all the signs; lipstick on the collar, scraches down the back, hickeys you didn't leave behind. Do you want to keep ignoring it or finally confront them?

III. HOW CAN I EXIST WITHOUT YOU?
01. YOU WOULDN'T WANT ME TO HAVE TO HURT YOU TOO... The object of your love/lust is resisting your advances, so it's time to take what you want.
02. JEALOUSY. It's jealousy to the extreme. You're going to make damn sure your lover knows how you feel about them seeing other people.
03. INCEST IS BEST. You know it's wrong, all kinds of sinful, but you can't resist the draw. If characters aren't related, then they are now! Or at least it feels very close to incest anyway.
04. YOU'RE NEVER GONNA GET FAR. You love that person so much, you've made sure they can't get away - by physically tying them down or by some other emotional or mental means.
05. I'LL MAKE YOU HURT. You've set it up to make sure your lover catches you cheating or doing something else hurtful just for that reason. You want to make them suffer.
06. CHAINS AND WHIPS EXCITE ME. You're both taking sex to extremes.
07. BROKEN. Your lover has utterly broken you and you need them to know.
08. SECRECY. You're embarrassed by your lover, utterly embarrassed. If they weren't useful in some way (even if it's just in bed!), you wouldn't even be with them.
09. YOU'RE MY LAST CHOICE. You don't really love the person you're with, but they're all you could snatch up and it's no secret to either of you.
10. FORCED TOGETHER. You don' love each other, but you have no choice but to be together due to outside influences. Alternatively, you've been captured and are now being forced to make a sex video even if you don't want to.
11. WATCH HOW I DO IT. You were just forced to watch your lover have sex with someone else (willingly or not) or beaten and now you've got to deal with the aftermath.

[How many years had Tohma looked after Eiri? Somewhere along the line, he had stopped keeping count. When someone bothered Eiri, Tohma would make sure that they quietly disappeared from the scene. Some distractions went quietly. Others did not and ended up meeting misfortune. But it had all been for Eiri's sake. He did these things gladly for him.

And why wouldn't he? Eiri was the person he loved most in the entire world.

But things change. He wanted to make Eiri see just how much he loved him. If he kept on doing things for him, surely he would come around! Tohma was armed with dinner that evening, knowing that the writer likely wasn't taking very good care of himself. Tohma stood at the door, just staring for a moment. Should he go in? Should he ring the bell? Deciding to take the path that might anger Eiri the least, he pressed the doorbell and waited, putting on his most pleasant of smiles.]

[True to form, Eiri's holed up in his office with only an overflowing ashtray to keep him company. He's been in there for, well, he doesn't know and he doesn't really care.

His idiotic lover's band is off touring America. Enough said.

The sound of the doorbell gives him pause in bringing cigarette number who's-keeping-track-anyway to his lips. Anyone who usually bothers him doesn't usually bother with the doorbell. And anyone who does isn't worth his time. They usually want something from him.

No, scratch that, they all want something from him. At least the ringers tend to be easier to get rid of. Ignore them and they go away.

With that in mind, his lips meet his sweet, sweet death stick as he sits back and waits for the inevitable.]

[Poor Eiri. Tohma wasn't so easy to get rid of, try as he might for all of these years. The blonde man waited a few minutes before pulling out his spare key to open the doorlock. It was only a second before the door was pushed open and Tohma stepped inside. Naturally, he shut and locked the door behind himself.

Eiri was suffering, that much was apparent to him. It made him feel just the slightest bit guilty that he was thrilled that the idiot had gone away for a while. Not guilty enough to try and get him back, though.]

Eiri-san! I brought you dinner. You haven't eaten yet, right?

[He found his way through the apartment to where the blonde man was sulking, the smile never leaving his lips.]

I thought we could eat dinner together.

[For a split second, Eiri wonders if he's being robbed.

But then he hears the last voice he wants to hear and he's scowling deeply, taking one last, long drag of his cigarette, sensing a need for the calming effects it has on him. Even if Seguchi's company is more than tolerable on a good day, that man - more than anyone - knows what Shuichi's absence does to him. And he hates feeling coddled.

He turns his scowl onto the man in question, putting out his cigarette in spite of himself.]

Did you also think my not answering the door was an invitation?

Well it would be a shame to have let this food go to waste. Besides that, you rarely answer your door as it is.

[Judging from the look on Tohma's face, he is completely immune to those scowls and glares that Eiri is giving him. He makes his way over to the couch and sits himself down, setting the bag of take out food on the table. It wasn't the most nutritious of food, but it was something that he was able to pick up quick. Tohma did come straight from work to check on Eiri.

Not that the other blonde would appreciate that any.]

I have to make sure you're surviving while Shindou-san is away.

Not my problem. And there's a good reason for that.

[Eiri wasn't expecting him to be deterred - hardly anyone was anymore, damn brat's fault - but it's mostly a force of habit by now. Emphasis on the force.]

You really don't. I'm not a child. [Something he doubts Seguchi will ever comprehend, no matter how many times he has to remind him. But even as he protests, he's relocating to the vacant spot on the couch, eying the convenience store selection with slight interest. He can't remember the last time he ate anything, though he's not about to admit to that.]

Survival via cup noodles? What am I, a college student? [Teasing, in lieu of a thank you. He takes his pick and then stands, thinking better of something:] This would go well with some booze. You want anything?

I know you're not a child. But that doesn't mean you don't need to be looked after every now and then. [There was no one in the world who knew that better than Tohma, in fact. He had been there as he grew into the surly man he was today.

He looks over at Eiri as he finds his seat on the couch, all the happier that he's nearer to him. With that smile in place, he begins to pull out two covered containers from the bag; one for Eiri and one for himself. He puts one on the coffee table in front of Eiri and leaves the other near to himself, tilting his head slightly.]

I wouldn't bring you cup noodles. It's at least been prepared.

[He nods a little at the offer, pulling off his gloves and hat to set them aside.] I'll have what you're having, Eiri. Thank you.

The night wasn't particularly pleasant. Stiles felt weaker than he's supposed to after his lacrosse practice and the coughing didn't seem to stop even after he's gotten home. Indeed, it's gotten worse during the night. Also, Stiles managed to get himself a light fever in the morning.

Just, brilliant.

But hurray for staying home.

Not so much hurray for coughing, and fever though. Also, his throat already felt sore from the constant coughing. The worst thing was that he had to send a text to Riley to cancel their meet up for that day, because he was sure he won't be able to go anywhere in his current state.

Poor Stiles. =(

She hadn't expected the cancellation, worry going through her as she sent him back a text asking why. Not like he owed her an explanation or anything, they weren't joined at the hip, but... she'd been looking forward to seeing him that day, planning on getting to know more about him while curled up with him on her couch. She liked when he came over to her place. She liked that they had a small little bubble of privacy from the rest of the world.

He's unlucky with me because I'm a sucker for sickness. yyyep

Stiles couldn't help his weak smile as he received Riley's text. But he was always smiling when he was reading her texts, so there wasn't anything new there.

He wrote how he's been sick all night, and he's absent from school today, and maybe tomorrow too. And how awesome it is. He didn't want her to worry, because there wasn't anything to worry about. It was just a little sickness with fever, nah no big deal, he was a grown man now, he won't whine about it. Well, not to girls at least... His father was having a load of him in the morning when he was preparing to go to work. But he promised to be back early afternoon.

'so unless you want to play nurse we're not gonna meet for a few days, sorry' he wrote at last, and hated how he already missed her.

He's adorable, even when sick

Chewing on her lip as she read his texts, her brow was furrowed in a frown as she thought of him at home all alone. Sick. With no one to take care of him. Not on her watch.

I can be over in twenty minutes. Do you want some soup or ice cream?

A few days just wouldn't cut it for her and her need to take care of him, to protect what was hers was too strong for her to ignore. Like it or not, Stiles was most definitely hers and she intended for him to be well cared for.

Stiles was staring at Riley's text a bit longer than it was necessary. He just wanted to make sure he's not hallucinating. Then he wanted to force his fingers to tell her that she doesn't have to come.

I think soup wud be better

He wrote at last. Then sent it. He felt awful for relying on her like this, but on the other hand he also felt 'warm' about it. Different kind of warm than his fever, and it was much more pleasant too.

You're gonna wear a nurse outfit too or is that too much

He texted just to take away the sudden sharpness of the situation. Somehow he didn't want to think too seriously about this. He was too sick and tired for that.

She laughed out loud at the last text, already getting into her car and texting him back before starting the engine.

It's not close enough to Halloween for me to get the one I think you'd prefer.

It would take to long to make soup herself, so she figured she'd buy something while she was driving through town towards his place. Chicken noodle was always the best choice, from what she'd heard. They had a soup and sandwich place that always smelled good when she passed it. That's where she'd get it.
