They're going to be a pal and show you around in your new body. Difficulties: Okay, there's going to have to be some thought about the logistics here. It's not going to be an easy wham-bam-thank-you-m'am. Modification: Maybe you can't do the classic penetration, but there are other ways to get off. Power Up: There are interesting ways you can put abilities to use. Hurt: You didn't mean to, but you hurt them physically. Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder: They're actually the most gorgeous specimen back home. You're the ugly one! Well, not exactly to them, but you do look a little funny. There were many kinds of magic in the world and across the planes of Exandria. None older given to those outside the gods though than that of the Upper Fey Kingdom, led by Queen Titania and King Oberon. The Neighbors. While all other magics had limits, be it within the caster or where they drew it from, the magic of the Neighbors through the Magus did not. They could manipulate everything and anything they needed to. But the true intentions of the Magus, their goals, their pursuits, were largely for the world. Curing blights. Healing the sick. In short, loving the world. They did not lie, they avoided conflict, and while this didn't make them pacifists, they led largely nomadic or solitary lives.

However, The Calamity wiped out most of their kind, and few had been born since that the Neighbors had taken to or that the mages that were left could take on as apprentices.

And so Elias had made his home on the borders of the Lotusden Greenwood. A forest rich with fey magic and perfect for a mage, for plant life was a great source of magic from the Neighbors. He avoided the war between the Empire and Xhorhas, helped any locals he could, but largely kept to himself for a few decades now.

Until the Bright Queen got wind and sent Essek to assess and determine if he was a problem, or potential ally. Even with the war "over", powerful contacts were never to be passed up. At first, Elias was cold and wary toward Essek. He refused to be drawn into whatever the hell they were up to, and his loyalty-if any-was only toward Queen Titania. Despite his macabre appearance, he was neither Lich, nor Undead. His origins were a mystery even to himself, as he recalled nothing before meeting his teacher, Lindel, another mage who watched over the last pre-calamity dragons and was if possible even more of a hermit than Elias.

As they continued to meet, Elias warmed to Essek. From poking fun of him being a glorified errand boy, to planning when they'd next meet and lending books to one another as the mage had an extensive library.

After a delicious meal provided as always by his housekeeper, the domestic Neighbor named Silver, the mage and the wizard settled in the living room by the fire, Elias taking his usual armchair.

There were a handful of fey critters around the house, drawn to Elias' magic like the fire salamanders dancing in the grate, the occasional floating air jellyfish, the blue fire hedgehog asleep on his crafting table, or the massive green salamander whom always tried to curl up next to Essek-or around his shoulders like a weird cat or dog.
