the hate sex meme

the hate sex meme
1. Jealousy: Who are they sexting late at night? Did their gaze linger too long on your sexy neighbor? Time to confront them, show them that they are yours, that they belong with you and no one else.
2. Recently broken up: Breaking up is hard to do. The fights, the separation, the bad feelings that come with it. And sometimes lingering passions can make you have some intense reunions.
3. Long Time Enemies: Childhood rivals, competing companies, families, good vs. evil, whatever it is, you two do not get along. But hate can easily give way to a different sort of passion.
4. Taunting: You push and you push and you push, and they push back. Eventually one of you is going to snap, you can only ignore sexual tension for so long.
5. Just plain hate: You hate them. So much. And every time they look at you, you want to punch them in the face, but deep in your depraved mind you would really like to rip their clothes off and have some hot hate sex. Time to give in.
6. Wildcard: Pick from above or... got a different scenario in mind? Go crazy. Pick your own!

[His return has been something of a surprise, though not an entirely unpleasant one. While his plans have been interrupted for the moment, there will always be a second chance for doing what he wants. That's something he's learned, since then, and his anger has cooled over that particular disappointment.

Again, for the moment.

But there are other lose ends from before that need tying up, of course. The loud harpy of a human girl still lived, Dante was still a moron, and of course, he was here. But in due time, he supposes, taking a moment to glance out of the window. Due time.

Nothing has changed in his absence, however. That is a good thing. In all honesty, for what little connection he had with the mortal world, there hadn't even been a hiccup. That, too, is to his advantage.

He sighs, putting aside the book he's been scanning through.]

Well, derailed or not, I don't see how Hell could be much worse. [He speaks to himself, unaware and uncaring if he has an audience.]

crying tears of blood. yes

[Said human girl didn't hear him enter to begin with. Lady needed time alone, certainly away from the much more expressive twin, to put it lightly. Whatever had happened between the two came of no surprise that resulted in Lady sulking off. They argued quite a bit, some were ridiculous arguments and some were not. Maybe Lady was just in one of those moods that day that her patience was really running thin.

Just curled up with a book in silence didn't sound that too bad right now, just enough space for her to cool her temper. It was a good plan, up until she heard a familiar voice as Lady was strolling right out in the open, stopped dead in her tracks with her brow furrowed. A Sparda twin -- the less pleasant one. She kept her mouth shut when it came to her feelings about Vergil around Dante, simply because he was his family. But that was probably going to change now with a very ill-tempered Lady.]

Don't you have another place you can lurk?

[Speak of the devil, so they say. He gives a long-suffering sigh, before bothering to turn, pinning her with just a look, not saying anything for a long moment.

Little does she know, she is one of the very things he and Dante argue about. The fact that she is here. Dante is a sympathetic and empathetic fool, and she is...Well. Human. And has no business in their business, as far as he's concerned.

But it's waved away, as he folds his arms, keeping her in his line of sight. He doesn't trust her, and well. There's good reason for that, too, isn't there?]

I could say the same to you.

[personal profile] solinvictus 2013-04-22 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
[It could start off in a "I was here first" argument, as immature as that would be, but that was the mentality. His brother was the one who extended the welcome to allow her presence here (of course in his own way) which Lady would be more than happy to note.

That is if she was capable of forming that into a rational answer at the moment. The feeling is mutual with her, who isn't even remotely armed and only walking casually around in her socks.]

I think there's a gargoyle out there missing a creep for him to perch on.

[Not that what she actually says is much better, he will note. But that's not surprising, either. She and Dante were peas in a pot, with the same terrible foul mouths and bad attitudes to go along with it.

He snorts, finally deciding she's no threat at all in her current state, and turns away, moving to pick up his book once more. For all of Dante's faults, he has collected quite an impressive little cache of knowledge.

Knowledge, no doubt, he's never cracked the spine on, if Vergil's being honest. Which he is.]

Are all your insults such small-minded witticisms or is this strictly for my benefit?

[personal profile] solinvictus 2013-04-22 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not in the mood. If you want to know so badly, then talk to your brother.

[For as much as she wants to turn on her heel and leave, she doesn't. No, she was invited here; he said it was fine himself, why should she leave if Vergil is here? He would have to deal with Lady's presence here. He knew his brother well enough to expect Lady lurking around here. Although there is the fact that Lady is still abrasive and crass to him. She didn't like him, she couldn't stand him. He was still the same pompous ass he always was.]

I'm not leaving.

Gold star for you, then.

[He doesn't bother turning around to address her properly, instead flipping through the book once more, to find where he was before he'd put it down. Seriously, does she honestly think he cares? Because he doesn't. Let her stay, if that's what Dante wishes. He has no plans to. Not really.

This is merely...A layover, really.]

Though I have to say you're remarkably like your father. He never comprehended leaving me in peace, either.

[personal profile] solinvictus 2013-04-22 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
[He really can pinpoint what sets her off. Her face grows pale at the comment. It's been a few months since his death and years since Lady had bothered making any sort of emotional contact. So why does it rouse some pain when he says that? Lady doesn't really think about it. She ends up grabbing a stray glass cup from the counter and throws at him in anger, without thinking.]
sanctus: (⚜ nod and watch your lips move)

[personal profile] sanctus 2013-04-22 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
[She also underestimates his abilities in her anger. He can hear the glass coming at him before he bothers to turn, and reaches up, catching it. She has quite an arm for a human, though. He won't deny that, though it does't show on his face as he carefully, lightly sets it on the table next to him, along with his book.]

Temper, temper. [His eyes darken a moment at that, before a corner of his mouth kicks up, every so slightly.] It seems I've hit a nerve.

[personal profile] solinvictus 2013-04-22 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
[Even in her anger, no matter how much the urge comes boiling in her blood to go over there and take her fist to his face, she knows she can't. She can't stand that feeling of anger and only having her words to reiterate that important fact.]

Don't talk about that man.

[She doesn't come rushing forward at him as much as she wants to and as much as she would with Dante. Dante was easier to come up to and hit. The fact he caught the glass isn't much of a surprise to her, but it still does infuriate her. She doesn't stroll up to hit him, rather to take his book out of his hands in her fury.]

Leave.
