Sometimes, Tim wonders if he's done something to piss Art off real good, especially times like this when he's being sent to some hovel of a town to work with Raylan to gather information on some suspects. As much as Tim likes Raylan, it sure does read like punishment when he has to work with him professionally for too long.

Though, if he's being honest, it's probably Raylan that's done the pissing off and that's why Art doesn't want him coming down here alone.

So here they are, in a hamlet so small there isn't even a shitty murder motel on the edge of it. They've been treated to a van that doesn't look like much on the outside, but inside it's been practically gutted to fit some surveillance equipment, a cooler, and a mattress shoved up in the back with some blankets so they can get some sleep.

Really rolling out the royal treatment for us. That's what Tim had said when they'd gotten it. A camper van would have been too conspicuous, that was the official reasoning, but he saw the look on Art's face that makes Tim suspect he picked this to be funny.

"You best go see if somewhere around here sells Febreze, I'm not sleeping on any pillow that gets your damn hat smell on it."

[ Essek Thelyss does not know how he came into this situation however, here they were and well circumstances did indeed make rather strange bedfellows. At the very least however she did not smell bad-- a nice woodsy scent that was unfamilar and so far she was not kicking him-- that was also a plus that made this not so bad.

That did not stop him though from taking a rather inelegant swig from the plum wine bottle he had tucked between them, and thankfully due to his powerful command of gravity, he was able to drink it from his laid-back position.

He was still learning how to people so this made it a bit difficult when one came down to it, but he was trying.. gods was he trying ]

[ Who would have thought there would have been an old bunker hidden away in the middle of a semi-apocalypse? It was tucked away in one of the nicer areas, aka one where it hadn't been run into a complete shithole and some places remained habitable yet. Still, it was one of the unknown areas and they had been tasked with scouting it out. It was a little difficult to navigate through and the quarters were relatively tight. There were no windows and time has escaped faster not having the light to gage time better at a glance.

Nightfall had started in quick and it looked like they would be stuck here until daybreak. Nothing dangerous about it other than it seemed pretty old. They had some supplies on them that would get them through and it seemed to work well enough. As far as the bed situation went it was down to a single bed, twin at best and would be a bit of a hard fit for the two of them, at least side-by-side. Joel lets out a chuckle at the situation. It wasn't like they hadn't been sleeping on top of each other before or in the same bed. Still it was a humerous situation. ]
